Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort

Our vacation at the Marriott Hurghada was absolutely wonderful! My mother and I had an amazing time and truly got the rest we needed. The service in every part of the hotel was outstanding. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were spacious, spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The view was simply breathtaking and something we will never forget. The food was delicious, with a great variety of fresh and tasty dishes every day. We especially loved the beach bar, where the bartenders were not only professional but also funny and entertaining, making every visit enjoyable. A special thank you to the beautiful receptionist, Rania, who always welcomed us with a warm smile. She was very helpful and recommended the perfect place for shopping, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Marriott Hurghada is a hotel we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing vacation with excellent location for exploring Hurghada. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We hope to come back again!

I am very disappointed. The trip was uncomfortable; the hotel was old and the gym had no staff. I wanted help but couldn't find anyone.

The Marriott Hotel in Hurghada has a beautiful reception area, which creates a great first impression as soon as you walk in. The buffet restaurant was quite small, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating area was aesthetically pleasing, while the indoor restaurant had carpeted flooring and relaxing classical music playing, which created a nice atmosphere. The food selection was average overall. There could have been more variety, and both the quality and quantity could have been better. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, with two double beds and a balcony overlooking either the sea or the pool, both offering lovely views. The bathroom could definitely be improved, especially for a five-star hotel. A detachable shower head would have been much more practical, and the bathroom overall felt below the standard expected of a hotel with this rating. The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. Behind the main pool is a private beach, only around a three-minute walk away. The beach has shallow, clear water that reached up to my neck (I'm 5'3"), before getting slightly deeper. I was lucky enough to see beautiful fish and even jellyfish. Behind the beach is a seating area with drinks available, leading directly out to the stunning Red Sea. On the right-hand side, the ships and yachts are docked, creating a beautiful view. The hotel is also conveniently located. The main markets are only 10–15 minutes away by car or around a 20-minute walk. KFC, McDonald's and Pizza Hut are also approximately 10 minutes away by car. The spa is attached to the hotel, just a five-minute walk past the gym. However, I felt the massage price of around £60 was too expensive, as were many of the other treatments. It's also worth noting that the spa, steam room and sauna are not included in the hotel package and require an additional charge. One of the highlights of my stay was the bed and pillows—they were honestly some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Overall, the Marriott Hotel Hurghada has an excellent location, beautiful views, comfortable rooms and beds, but there is room for improvement when it comes to the food, bathrooms and the additional costs for the spa facilities.

Excellent accommodation, beautiful reception, all staff very attentive and courteous. Any problems are soon rectified. Beach and pool are beautifully maintained. Meals are varied and well presented. For shopping a taxi or Uber really is required, trust me, I tried walking lol. Thank you for a most enjoyable vacation
