You sometimes find a hotel/resort that exceeds your expectation. Stella Island Resort was in every sense a place to relax and enjoy the choice of the different restaurants, the different parts of the swimming pools but most importantly the incredible service that the staff offer to guests, From the moment of arrival to when we left the staff in every department always were courteous and welcoming. After a lovely 10 days you could think seriously about planning when you would return. Many people you could mention from the front desk, bar staff, restaurant servers and pool team but a quick shout out to Anastasia in the main restaurant who always went out of her way to look after us. Service often above what you like to expect from a holiday venue.

The most amazing experience at Stella Island!! My husband and I had a family emergency and needed to move our trip up a day. We had made a non refundable booking and contacted Stella Island. We Spoke with a Lady called Andrea who went above and beyond to move our trip so we didn’t loose any money and could still attend for the nights booked. I wish I was able to see her so I can really thank her for the efforts she made to support us with very last minute changes. On arrival, our baggage didn’t end up on the flight. For the days we were here, we met a fabulous lady called Erisma who was such a delight and so warm. She provided us with the necessities we needed until our luggage arrived and Each day she would check on us to ensure we had all we needed and we were provided for without any complaints. She also went above and beyond to contact the airline and chase up our luggage. Erisma constantly smiled through out and when she saw us, would greet us with such a lovely embrace. We are so grateful to all the staff here at the resort (especially Erisma and Andrea) that made our experience so memorable. We will definitely be back again !!!

We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at Stella Island Luxury Resort & Spa and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble. The resort itself is absolutely stunning — spotless, luxurious, and beautifully designed throughout. The pools are amazing, the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and the food was outstanding with so much variety across the restaurants. Every meal felt like a real experience. The cocktails, service, and attention to detail were all first class. Our room was beautiful, immaculately clean, and the whole resort had that perfect balance of luxury and comfort. Whether you want to completely relax or enjoy the entertainment and activities, this place delivers everything. A special mention to the staff who work so hard to make every guest feel valued — they truly made the holiday unforgettable. Without doubt one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in and we will 100% be returning. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxury couples getaway in Greece.

Where do I start?! From start to finish the place was absolutely beautiful! The staff, food and entertainment was impeccable. We stayed in the luxury swim up room which was lovely and where we were located was very private. We do regret not going for either of the nest huts or grand over water bungalow as when we got here they looked something out of this world! Next year, we are definitely going for one of them or the signature villa as it's currently being built and looks beautiful only downside I'm not 100% on where it's located in resort but still lovely. The cleaning staff were all lovely aswell always said hello when walking past and work very hard as it's big enough resort to get through, there work shouldn't go unnoticed! We want to give Marianna a special shoutout as she went far and beyond to make our stay that more special. Helping my partner give me a lovely surprise of a proposal. She by far stood out for us she had a lovely, bubbly and kind energy about her. There is other shoutouts for people I want to give but just didn't get their names, a woman that worked in parisso was amazing! We went for entertainment for most nights and she was on the ball making sure our drinks were topped up! She didn't have to come over she knew our drinks and had a steady flow coming! Amazing service! In reception the girl bartender, only got meeting her the night before check out but she was so friendly and made amazing cocktails. The male bartender at reception was the same absolutely amazing!! Another girl who worked at desk at reception was amazing and nice always went out of her way to say hello and start a conversation! I was sick for 2 days and they were so caring always asking how I was feeling everyday! You don't get that in much places!! Unfortunately, there was only one member of staff I didn't find friendly and quite rude sometimes but don't want to mention his name but worked in parisso. Maybe he was having hard time outside of work? The parilla was our favourite place to eat dinner please go when visiting! I'll hope to see all the lovely staff next year! Thank you for making it that much more special!

Just returned home from a brilliant honeymoon at Stella Island. There is so much good to say about this resort, the staff are brilliant and so helpful, Manos was especially great. Food was great, the buffet in general was brilliant. They have chefs making signature dishes which were lovely too. We tried one of the restaurants which was really nice, but all inclusive wasn’t worth the money for us. It’s a magical place, with a great spa. The negatives for me was that there wasn’t enough to do around the resort and there wasn’t much to do in the surrounding areas that we spent a lot on taxis to do things. Highly recommend doing the Cretan tuk tuk tours. We had a luxury swim up room which was lovely, but disappointing that the pools were constantly freezing. Most people just sunbathed and didn’t go in the pools. For me it was a solid 8/10, if you want a holiday with sunbathing, drinking and eating this is the ideal place. It is definitely an instagram tik tok place with people constantly taking selfies. It’s very luxurious, but if you want to experience authentic Greece, this may not be the resort for you.
