TUI BLUE Playa Feliz

Nice place. No good if you want a beach holiday though. The hotel is set back from the rocks and access to the sea is over the rocks. If its the beach you want you need to jump on the bus to Maspalomas. That beach is stunning. Its like the Sahara. Hotel food decent. First night Saturday 5th September...Roast Beef and yorkshires!! Yes! No roasts after that but if you are fussy or taking kids the pizzas are freshly made and lovely. We only went Half board so can't really comment on lunchtime food. Rooms are nice and the main hotel has several pools but very busy with families and people even now still putting towels down at 8am and never use the bed all day. The hotel is perfect to explore the Island. The bus stop right outside will take you North to Las Palmas..the capital and only 40 minutes pretty much non stop and I think 4.95 euro? about £4.50. There is a taxi rank there too but the bus is so much cheaper. If you want Playa De Inglis or Maspalomas or Puerto Rico (my favourite place PR) crossover the road via the flyover and head south. Buses every 20-30 minutes and really cheap too. The hotel was decent and I would go again but buy snacks at the two shops as it was expensive to have All Inclusive.

Absolutely disgusted with this hotel and their policy, Paid £1,500 for a half-board stay and was disappointed to find that NO DRINKS, including basic soft drinks/water at dinner, were included. This made the half-board package feel POOR value and should have been made much clearer before booking! Disappointed. How can you have a dinner with no drink???? Having to pay EXTRA

Great location with convenient supermarkets and restaurants very close by and with easy transport links to travel around the island. Room was lovely cleaned daily and situated in a beautiful court yard with tropical trees and plants, loved the wild birds visiting every morning and watching them bathing in the puddles from the irrigation system. Got a great deal and you also get to use the facilities and entertainment in the adjacent sister hotels. Staff polite, knowledgeable and always helpful. Had such a fantastic holiday we are returning again on 28 September 2026 and we can hardly wait.

Lovely hotel- not too big. Food was top quality with friendly staff! The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were great. Would definitely go back.

Me, my husband and 2 boys (12 and 16). stayed in a 2 bed self catering apartment for 2 weeks. The resort was spotless clean and we had a lovely double terrace overlooking the sea. There were lots for the boys to do in the day. Water polo volleyball on the beach etc. The animation team worked really. They were all lovely. We did eat in the buffet for breakfast a few times. Julian was so attention and was a credit to the hotel. Always happy to see us and couldn't do enough for us. Player feliz is much more chilled and relaxed from the all inclusive resort next door which you can use also. We are glad we stayed at player feliz as it was so easy to get sun beds in the morning. We heard that it was manic at the other hotel. We liked to have a few drinks in the afternoon by the sea terrace. As we were self catering, we had to oay for drinks. We could have easily gone to the spar and brought our drinks there but we wanted to support the hotel. Afew of the bar staff were very rude and it got to the point where I had to speak to the tui rep because I wouldnt go if there were certain staff working. They logged a complaint and came to our apartment 2 days later with a card and a bottle saying they are sorry and that this had been addressee and fed back. Fair play to them. You can get a bus or taxi to the next town which is not far. There is much more going on there. If you want to go on an excursion, then use the guy in the square. Tarik, he is one of the loveliest guys you will meet. We went to aqua land and did a boat trip.
