Protur Safari Park

What a great holiday we have had again at the Protur Safari hotel. We have been here 5 times and have always had a great holiday, we have been with family and as a couple and always enjoyed our stay. The staff and the manager are extremely helpful and friendly. We have already booked to go back in May 2027 knowing we can relax and have another brilliant stay. This hotel caters for families and couples and the facilities are great, if you enjoy walks and shopping there is plenty to do in the area.

Fantastic holiday. We came to Sa Coma last year however stayed in an another Protur hotel. This resort is excellent. There are several pools to choose from including a splash park. There is never any competition for sun loungers. The entertainment - kids mini disco and the adult entertainment was amazing and we enjoyed every night. The rooms were always cleaned to a high standard. There is plenty of various food to choose from. If you miss the buffet in the restaurant, there's snacks to choose from situated around the pool all day. The staff are always accommodating. All the family enjoyed! I will definitely be coming back here next year! Thank you Protur for another fantastic holiday!

Why have you a sickness bug when hotel only just opened this month???? If Hygiene stands are so high . Looking back the hotel has had problems each year ! Yet Hygiene standards are taken seriously. I have been coming for more years than I can mention but this is making me think !!!!

Both me and my partner have ended up with D&V while here which is a shame but reading other reviews were not alone. Just hoping my little one doesn’t end up with it! The hotel itself is lovely looking - we found it to be clean and well looked after in our room. Plenty for the little ones to do mini golf, splash park, park, trampolines - a few different pools to choose from. We enjoyed the food, thought they was abit of a selection and it was nice - but presume this is where we’ve picked the bug up so abit worrying. Our little one loved the mini disco, but it’s very repetitive same songs every night surely this could be mixed up abit more there’s plenty of children’s disco songs?

Booked via TUI, flight was delayed at Teesside so arrived after evening meal, but they laid on a cold buffet at hotel. Main issue was no car seat for 15 month old on private transfer. TUI told me on phone airport would sort one, TUI staff at airport unable to help, had a terrible driver, drove very fast on dark roads. Booked 2 apartments, in advance contacted hotel to request a travel cot, apartments near each other and pool facing, all delivered by hotel. Buffet and drinks were usual all inclusive,  you have to pay for bottled water from bar, but free from machine on restaurant.  No coffee at lunchtime which was a disappointment. They could not cater for dairy free diet, i did contact in advance and was told just to ask in restaurant, but no joy.  There is a big supermarket at back of hotel and small one over the road at front.  The hotel had a bug, saw at least 2 children in restaurant vomit, then spoke to other adults who had D&V.  There was ambulances outside hotel on a number of occasions. Unfortunately our 15 month old developed symptoms and also got a rash on arm. Entertainment was on all day and there was plenty of sun loungers and different pools. You can hire beach towels for a deposit of €10 each. There is themed restaurants you get one guaranteed, most are still a buffet but Italian served 3 course at table. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned 5 days, clean towels each time, but not sure that they changed the bedding in the week. I asked TUI staff about car seat for private transfer back, spoke to them twice and they said they would ring me, I am still waiting for the call. However the minibus had a buster seat, which was better than nothing, and a much safer driver.
