Exagon Park

This was the 3rd family holiday we’ve spent at Exagon Park hotel since 2022. Ranging in age from 14-73 we find it ticks lots of boxes, The grounds & pool are the best we’ve found, the pool water is warm enough to play in, the life guard is not intrusive the atmosphere relaxed & enjoyable. The grounds are kept clean & there are always subbed to be had & natural shade when needed. The rooms are dated yes but as with the rest of the hotel are kept very clean, towels are changed if you put them in the bath for the maid & sheets changed if you put the sign on the bed, the rooms are spacious with plenty of drawers & storage. A safe costs €15 & a kettle provided if you ask. We actually found the food better than the previous time we stayed & always found something to eat which we liked, we were 1/2 board & bought lunch at the pool bar which we all thought was great value for money and the portions large, the kids thought the chicken nuggets were the best they’d had! The location is great being just far enough away from the noise of the resort but only a 5-10 min walk to the beach & shop/bars. During the day you can walk from the hotel through the nature reserve which is nice but the gate is closed at 8pm after that you have to walk down/up the road. The staff work very hard & are polite and friendly. We had a great holiday and can’t understand the negative reviews.

Just back after a fortnights stay at this hotel with my family as an All Inclusive paying quest. Prior to leaving I read some awful reviews and was worried but I was pleasantly surprised on arrival. Pool and surrounding area really sell this hotel. Restaurant offered a good selection of food at all times and staff very friendly and polite at all times. Both inside and outside bar staff were very pleasant at all times. Rooms were cleaned everyday and cleaners were very friendly. We just put towels in bath and sign on bed if we wanted a change everyday. Travelling Tips: Ting Ting Train takes you into centre of Can Picafort. Supposed to start in morning but not reliable at all until later in the day. We walked and only took us 15 mins. Great Market along beach front on a Friday. Lovely restaurants along beachfront and quite reasonably priced being on the beach. Only a few minor points i would add as a All Inclusive paying quest is that I was surprised that we had to buy ice cream lollies at the outside bar. I would agree with all comments with regards to the rooms yes they were very clean and tidy but they do not match rest of hotel and need brought up to date to match a 4 star rating. Only one socket in room which is awkwardly placed at the side of the side headboard in corner of the room so that if you were lying in bed you could not charge and use at same time. I would bring an extension cable if you want to use more than one socket at a time as others are used TV and Fridge. Please be aware this hotel charges 3.30 euros per person per night with regards to travel tax. Had a lovely time with my family and would return for a great, relaxing family time away.

Second time visiting as first time (2019) was a great experience, however, the years have not been good. Hotel is now looking tired and dated. Went all inclusive again but this was a mistake as the food is very poor and resembles a poor works canteen. There is still no option to get a bar side lunch as “all inclusive” does not cover hot food from the pool side bar lunch menu. You can get some biscuits and curled up ham and cheese sandwiches. If you want a more substantial lunch you need to pay or get dressed and head to the one and only “canteen” area. There are some good points, plenty of space and sun loungers (we are out of main season though) so no mad dash at 4am to secure a sun bed. Gym is small but clean and indoor pool gives respite from the sun. Overall a hotel that needs to re-visit the all inclusive element and look to have a bit of a makeover to bring it up to what’s now expected from a 4 star hotel No plans for a third visit

Lovely hotel, reception area very clean and staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and spacious , air con was good, not noisy on a night and the beds were very comfortable, bathroom could do with upgrading. Pool area is lovely with plenty of sun beds, we got 2 at any time of day, covered in pool bar area serving drinks, cocktails, slush , coffee and snacks. Restaurant is nice and spacious and food is ok, a bit repetitive but lots of choice, I found the bacon and eggs were not very warm at breakfast! Entertainment could have been better. This hotel is next to a nature reserve and there’s a path that takes you to the beach 5 minutes away and along the promenade which is a lovely walk. The hotel is a bit out of the way but if you’re looking for a chilled relaxed holiday then it fits the bill.

The hotel has a great pool area and lots of sunbeds. Food is generally good as you’d expect from an all inclusive. Sometimes a little bit hit and miss. Great reception area. Our room was pretty spacious and good air con. Drinks are good but wine isn’t great. Cocktails are good too as no extra charge. Dinner in the evening for some reason you pay extra for drinks wine and soft drinks which I’m not sure why? Maybe because it’s waiter service? Don’t feel that’s really acceptable but it didn’t break the bank. A lovely area and a 5 min walk to the beach and shops.
