For us this hotel was just right (mum & son). It is currently busy season but plenty of room for everyone. We were surprised with a sea view which was wonderful. It is somewhat dated but has everything you need. Clean towels, sheets and friendly staff who work incredible hard to make your experince a good one. Snorkelling locally (if the conditions are settled) is great. Choice of a couple of small beaches all within walking distance (beware there are stairs everywhere due to the geology, this location is set with the backdrop of the mountains). Overall for what we paid for peek season we are happy and would return.

This was our second time at this hotel and I absolutely loved it. The location is wonderful, the place is spotless. Our room was in the building over the road which was what I’d asked for. The food was fine but replenishing was a little slow. The staff were a little more cheerful than last time with the cleaning staff being the most welcoming. When the boss man was around things ran perfectly that is not to say that service was poor it was just mor efficient when he was about. Will definitely return again. Can really recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel, exceptionally clean & well kept. Bedrooms are spacious with free aircon & generous balconies. The staff are lovely, very helpful & friendly. A special shout out to Krystal in the animación team who made our stay so much fun

The location of the Simar in Cala San Vicente is beautiful. It is surrounded by four coves, two of which are smaller and more secluded. Sun loungers cost €28, which felt a little expensive, but the sea is absolutely crystal clear, and you can see fish swimming around your feet. We had a room overlooking both the pool and the sea. It was spotlessly clean, with fresh towels provided and the beds made every day. The bed was incredibly comfortable – I had some of the best sleep I've had in a long time! The room stayed lovely and cool, and the bathroom was spacious with a powerful shower. There are a few restaurants nearby, along with a couple of SPAR shops, so you have everything you need within walking distance. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis, and the only disappointment for me was the daytime snack bar. There was a choice of just three items – a burger, hot dog, or ham toastie. Unfortunately, none of them tasted particularly nice, and I think a little more variety, including some healthier options, would be a great improvement. I mainly stuck to the pots of melon for snacks. Breakfast was definitely the best meal of the day, with plenty of choice and exactly what you would expect from a good 3-star hotel. We only ate dinner there twice, but both meals were perfectly fine. There is a bus stop just around the corner, and fares are very reasonable at around €3. We headed out most days and visited Port de Pollença, Pollença Old Town, Alcúdia, Formentor, and Playa de Muro, all of which were easy to reach by bus. One thing to bear in mind is that Cala San Vicente is a very quiet resort. While we loved the peaceful atmosphere, I think it could become a little boring if you don't plan on taking day trips or exploring the surrounding areas. It really depends on what you're looking for from your holiday. If you want relaxation, beautiful scenery, and a slower pace, it's ideal. However, if you're looking for lots of activities, nightlife, or entertainment, you may find it a bit limited. We also found the evening entertainment at the hotel to be quite disappointing and not particularly engaging. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The hotel's location, cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and stunning surroundings made it a fantastic base for exploring the area. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we would happily return.

Hotel simar was a nice hotel with a lovely pool and atmosphere beach nearer by but unfortunately the food was awful and r the chefs have no idea how to cook
