I’m leaving this review to warn other travellers. Our family holiday here was one of the worst we’ve ever experienced. The hotel is advertised as 4‑star, but what we found was closer to 1‑star — unsafe, unhygienic, overcrowded, and completely misrepresented. Rooms: Dirty, mouldy bathrooms, broken fixtures, ants, worn‑out mattresses with springs sticking through, and barely working air‑conditioning. The rooms looked nothing like the photos. We changed rooms and the second was just as bad. Facilities: Most advertised facilities didn’t exist or were unusable — no gym, no spa, empty indoor pool, unsafe playground, unusable golf course. The main pool and dining hall were overcrowded daily due to large numbers of day‑visitors. Food: Only one buffet for a huge number of guests. Long queues in extreme heat, constant shortages of food, plates, and glasses. The snack bar also ran out of food. We witnessed discriminatory behaviour from staff. Safety: Items were stolen from our room. The beach was full of sharp objects and caused injuries to children. Nothing was done when reported. Customer Service: Staff were dismissive at higher level. Some are trying their best with what they have like the Animation Team. OnTheBeach support was just an automated bot. After coming back we made a formal complaint and waiting for their response. Overall, There is not enough space here to say everything. We tried to make the most of it and there are few good points which are not worth mentioning because of the the condition of the hotel in general and the customer service is not up to the standard and tops any good points. This hotel is not safe, not clean, and nowhere near 4‑star quality. We spent our holiday dealing with problems instead of enjoying it. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel until major improvements are made.
The animation team is very good, they were very welcoming and the entertainment has been enjoyable to watch. The staff are lovely and very accommodating.
The place is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The staff were friendly, and everything was comfortable and pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hotel
The entertainment is lovely, staff very nice and food is very nice. Big pool, beach and multiple slides and the night partys are amazing
Not what we expected from a 4-star all-inclusive hotel Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel fell well short of what we would expect from a 4-star all-inclusive resort. The food was by far the biggest disappointment. There was very little choice for children, particularly for European families, and the quality was extremely poor. The options seemed to revolve around eggs, tuna and pizza, and unfortunately even these were not very enjoyable. We ended up eating out every evening despite having already paid for an all-inclusive package, which was incredibly frustrating and expensive. If you are considering staying here, I would seriously think twice about booking all-inclusive unless you are happy with very limited food choices. The dining area was also very disappointing. It was often dirty and extremely chaotic, with the atmosphere feeling more like feeding time at the zoo than dining in a 4-star hotel. The alcohol was equally disappointing, with the vodka, rum and gin all seeming to taste more or less the same. The rooms looked clean at first glance, but unfortunately, once you looked closer, there were quite a few issues. Dust was visible throughout the room, there were marks on the bed sheets and marks all over the walls. Our toilet seat was also cracked, which is not something we would expect to find in a 4-star hotel. These may seem like small things individually, but together they gave the impression that the rooms were not being properly maintained or checked to the standard we expected. Another thing that made us feel uncomfortable was the use of different coloured wristbands for different religious groups. Whatever the reason behind this system, as guests it made us feel singled out and uncomfortable. We found it particularly strange and felt that guests should not be visibly categorised in this way. It definitely affected how welcome we felt during our stay. We also found some of the staff very unhelpful and unapproachable, which made it difficult to get assistance when we needed it. That said, there were definitely some highlights. The snack bar staff were fantastic, and the lifeguards and entertainment team were absolutely amazing. They were friendly, welcoming and genuinely knew how to make guests feel comfortable and enjoy themselves. They were a real credit to the hotel and helped make our holiday more enjoyable despite the other issues. Overall, the food, dining experience, room maintenance and all-inclusive offering were nowhere near the standard we expected from a 4-star hotel. We paid for an all-inclusive holiday but still had to spend money eating out every night, which completely defeated the purpose of booking all-inclusive. Sadly, based on our experience, we would not choose to stay at this hotel again and would not recommend the all-inclusive option to other families.
