Riu Palace Aruba

My wife and I returned from Aruba last week. We stayed at the RIU Palace on Palm Beach. Excellent location right on the beach with a large pool. This is an all inclusive resort and food was very good with a large selection. We ate at two speciality restaurants (Krystal a gourmet restaurant and Milano an Italian restaurant). Both were very good. We stayed in the main building on the 9th floor with a beautiful Ocean View. Room was recently renovated as most of the rooms have been. The pool is huge with a swim up bar and drinks are plentiful. You need to save a place at the pool around 7 am to be sure to get a good location at the pool. Staff was very friendly, especially the restaurant staff. We found the resort to be very clean with staff constantly cleaning. Beach is very nice with plenty of lounge chairs. I would recommend this resort for couples, singles and families. I would like to express my thanks and assistance to Santana at the front desk for his hospitality. We would definitely stay at this resort again. However, I was informed the resort is going to be closed for about six months this year to complete their renovations.

Classic bait and switch!! I will not be returning and advise you to stay away too. I expected a room similar to the one shown on the website as I had stayed here once before. I am in treatment for breast cancer and needed a warm weather getaway. What I got was a dirty ground level room with a patio facing a driveway and an another building. I will be moving to a different room but remain deeply upset and disappointed by this experience.

We had an incredible stay at the Hotel RIU Palace Aruba! From the moment we arrived, everything was amazing. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had a gorgeous view. The food was great, and we loved that it was all inclusive- there were delicious options available , along with unlimited food and drinks throughout our stay. The pool and beach were fantastic- clear blue water and soft sand. Each and every staff member were friendly, attentive, and gone above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We also felt very safe the entire time. We were able to walk around at night and enjoy nearby shopping, restaurants, and entertainment, which made the trip even more relaxing. We would highly recommend this resort and can't wait to come back!

My husband and I traveled with another couple. Beautiful resort and area. VERY windy. Lots of positives-people cleaning all the time, good balance of activities-really enjoyed the water aerobics! All employees were polite and welcoming. Food was good. Exception-specialty restaurant seating is minimal and no reservations accepted-we were turned away at 6:30-all booked for evening. Are you kidding me? We got in line at 5:20 the next evening and waited in line until 6 to be sure we could get seated. We all enjoyed our dinner at the Japanese restaurant-try it! Buffet had good a selection, however. Building C was closed for renovations. We were not bothered at all by construction noise. One advantage from this was fewer people at the pool so no trouble getting lounge chairs. I think it would be really crowded with 1/3 more people once the resort was fully booked. a few suggestions- a bar in close proximity to dining would be good for pre-dinner cocktail need a better system for specialty dining more restrooms near pool coffee should be readily available in buffet-we had to wait for it to be delivered from coffee shop shower leaks onto bathroom floor-need to adjust seal at bottom of glass door Went to the butterfly Farm-enjoyed it very much

We have been visiting Aruba twice a year since 2002. Over the past 24 years we have stayed at several different hotels, and typically we don’t choose all-inclusive resorts because we love experiencing the amazing restaurants Aruba has to offer. However, in March 2024 we decided to stay at the RIU Palace Antillas, and it was an amazing experience. During that trip we had the pleasure of meeting Nayerlin and Susana at the breakfast and lunch buffet. They are truly wonderful ladies who made our stay even more special. Because of them and the fantastic service we received, we returned again in November 2024 and stayed at the same hotel. When we planned our March 2025 trip, we hoped to stay at RIU Palace Antillas again, but unfortunately it was fully booked. Instead, we stayed at RIU Palace the week of March 9, 2025. Our room was very nice and the service was excellent. We still made a point to visit RIU Antillas for breakfast and lunch so we could see our favorite people, Susana and Nayerlin. While Nayerlin was on a well-deserved vacation, we were happy to see Susana and meet Francisca. All three of these ladies are absolutely amazing and are a big reason we continue coming back to the RIU. You are very fortunate to have such outstanding staff members who make guests feel so welcome and ensure they want to return again and again. In fact, we have already booked another trip for October and will be staying at RIU Palace Antillas once again—looking forward to seeing Susana, Nayerlin, and Francisca! Tami & Mark
