Simply Perfect – Thank You, Grecian Sands My wife, teenage son and I stayed at the Grecian Sands Hotel during the Easter holidays in April, and it was a truly memorable experience. Although the resort was quieter than usual, our holiday was perfect in so many ways. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine welcome that reflected the renowned hospitality of the Cypriot people. Throughout our stay, the service we received was exceptional, and every member of staff made us feel valued and well looked after. The hotel is ideally located, approximately a 15-minute walk from the centre of Ayia Napa. You can enjoy a scenic walk along the beach towards the marina or stroll through the town, passing traditional Cypriot restaurants and charming gift shops. There is an excellent choice of places to eat, and the portion sizes certainly won't leave you hungry! The coastal walks directly from the hotel are stunning, offering breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters and beautiful Cypriot coastline. The hotel facilities are excellent. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool and on the grass terrace overlooking the beach and marina. The gym is well equipped, and the large indoor pool provides a great alternative if you prefer to escape the sun for a while. Comfortable seating areas around the outdoor bar and lounge create a relaxing atmosphere, and the daytime activities offer something for everyone. Each evening, the hotel hosted live entertainment in the lounge, which we thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward to after dinner. Originally, we had booked a double room but decided to upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment on arrival. This proved to be an excellent decision. The apartment was spacious, modern, stylishly designed and spotlessly clean. We genuinely could not fault the accommodation. The food throughout the hotel was very good, with an extensive selection of both Cypriot and English dishes available at breakfast and dinner. The daytime bar menu also offered a wide range of options, with the fresh salads becoming a particular favourite of ours. However, the highlight of our culinary experience was undoubtedly the rooftop burger restaurant. Having only recently opened for the season, it was already attracting visitors from across the area. The burgers were quite simply the best we have ever tasted—made with exceptional quality ingredients and served with fresh, homemade sauces and sides. If you time your visit right, you can enjoy a spectacular sunset over Ayia Napa Bay while dining. We would also like to personally thank Mr Petros and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. Their professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail made a lasting impression on us. We cannot wait to return next year and would highly recommend the Grecian Sands Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with excellent facilities, outstanding food and genuine Cypriot hospitality. We are just back from our 2nd time at the fabulous Grecian Sands Hotel. This hotel has it all. The stunning beach front location is ideal for anyone who loves pool bathing or slipping down on to the sand and have a dip in the sea, its beautiful. As a couple who love running and walking theres access to walks behind the hotel and do coastal walks or along the beach towards Ayia Napa harbour, or out on the main streets among the shops and restaurants. The atmosphere in and around the hotel is great, from the management to the cleaners, everyone makes you feel extremely welcome. The rooms have everything you need and are very clean. We would say its definitely value for money. We would like to say a special mention to the lovely Christina who makes the most yummiest omelettes each morning and its always service with a smile. She always loves a good catch up and always remembers what you like. To our lovely room cleaner, Androulla. This lady is so kind and so thoughtful. Each morning it was a warm welcome, greeting us with Kalimera, wishing us a lovely day.... and the detail in our lovely towels decorated daily was so lush. And to Georgina, she never stops... making sure everything is all ok. We would love to mention everyone as all the staff really make you feel welcome, and nothing is a hassle.

Just returned from this hotel & although the location is stunning I definitely wouldn't rate it a 4 star it's more like a 3. Food is hit & miss not great really unless you like pasta & noodles. Apart from the bar staff by the lobby the staff are so miserable & rude we were not made to feel welcome at all. Will never return to this hotel.

A Truly Unforgettable Return – The Perfect Place to Celebrate Our 20th Wedding Anniversary ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Where do I even begin? Twenty years ago, my husband and I were married at the Grecian Sands, so there was nowhere else we wanted to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We hoped it would be special, but what we experienced was beyond anything we could ever have imagined. From the moment we opened the door to our room, we knew this trip was going to be unforgettable. Our beautiful sea-view room had been decorated with a stunning three-tier towel "wedding cake", fresh flowers, rose petals, an anniversary banner and a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us. It was such a thoughtful and emotional welcome. The room itself was absolutely beautiful. Stylishly decorated, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need – luxurious robes and slippers, premium toiletries, a fully stocked mini fridge, a complimentary safe, plenty of power sockets and, importantly in the Cyprus heat, air conditioning that actually works brilliantly! One of the most emotional moments of our stay came when Stella, who has worked at the hotel for an incredible 36 years, recognised us after all this time. Twenty years later, she still remembered us. That alone speaks volumes about the people who work here. We were also reunited with Avraam, the Hotel Manager, who has been at Grecian Sands for over 25 years and was the person who planned our wedding back in 2006. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and it was wonderful to see him again after all these years. To make our anniversary even more special, we contacted our original wedding photographer, Costas, and asked if he would come back to recapture our memories 20 years on. Avraam was more than happy to welcome him back to the hotel, and together they helped us recreate some truly magical moments. We also asked Avraam if he would have a photograph taken with us to mark the occasion. Not only did he agree, but after finishing his shift, he came back to the hotel to join us for a drink. Sitting together, reminiscing about our wedding day and everything that had happened over the past two decades, was incredibly special. It was one of those moments that money simply cannot buy and is a memory we will treasure forever. What happened next completely overwhelmed us. Avraam and his team arranged a private champagne breakfast in the exact spot overlooking the sea where we said "I do" 20 years ago. It was beautifully presented, incredibly thoughtful and honestly one of the most special experiences we've ever had. It was far more than we ever expected and the perfect way to begin celebrating such a milestone anniversary. As if that wasn't enough, Avraam also invited us to lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him, reminiscing about our wedding and chatting about everything that had happened over the last two decades. His kindness, generosity and genuine care made us feel like family rather than hotel guests. Every single member of staff went above and beyond throughout our stay and nothing was ever too much trouble. They made us feel so welcome and created memories we will treasure forever. It truly felt like the honeymoon we never had. The hotel itself is exceptional. Every member of staff is friendly, professional and attentive. Housekeeping was outstanding – our room was cleaned every day to an impeccable standard, and the entire hotel is spotless. Everywhere you walk smells fresh and luxurious, which really adds to the overall experience. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and without exaggeration, it was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. The selection was extensive, everything was fresh and beautifully presented, and the quality was outstanding. We also had lunch several times at the pool bar and were so impressed. The food was delicious, the portions were generous and the prices offered excellent value for money. The pool area is immaculate, with extremely comfortable sunbeds, and despite never rushing down first thing in the morning, we never struggled to find somewhere to relax. Having direct access from the pool onto the beautiful sandy beach makes the location absolutely perfect. When it was finally time to leave, Avraam came outside to personally wave us goodbye. It was such a lovely gesture and the perfect ending to the most incredible holiday. If I'm honest, I didn't want to leave. There genuinely isn't a single fault I can find with Grecian Sands. The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, the food is outstanding and the service is simply world-class. Most importantly, it's the people who make this place so special. They don't just provide excellent hospitality – they create memories that last a lifetime. Thank you to Avraam, Stella and every member of the Grecian Sands team for making our 20th wedding anniversary one we'll never forget. We arrived hoping to relive some wonderful memories, but we left having created even more. We cannot recommend Grecian Sands highly enough and we will most definitely be back. I've stayed in many hotels in Cyprus in the last 36 years. To be honest, this one beats them all, including the 5 star ones. From arrival onwards, all the team here have been excellent and welcoming. Food at breakfast is very good and they have a great choice. We are on BnB so this has been our main experience of the food. Rooms are cooled with nice quiet aircon. The blackout curtains and double glazing, combined with very comfortable beds, have meant an excellent night's sleep each night so far. QR codes by sunbeds are great for poolside drinks orders and these is quick and efficient. Also, we havent had a day where it is not possible to find a sunbed. The pool is a nice temperature too. I have been to some that are freezing over here. To sum up, excellent is the only way to describe this hotel.
