Hotel Grecian Park

Our family of four recently stayed at Grecian Park Hotel, and from the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt genuinely welcomed. One thing stands out above everything else: the people. Every single member of staff we encountered was warm, smiling, professional and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was the reception team, the porters, the café staff in the lobby, the jewellery shop assistant, the pool attendants, the housekeeping team, the restaurant staff or the maintenance crew, everyone made us feel valued as guests. A special thank you goes to Barbara, whose service was truly exceptional. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible stay. She is a real asset to the hotel. We would also like to mention the lovely young blonde girl working at the ice cream bar. She was always smiling, incredibly kind and wonderful with guests. Small moments like these make a holiday memorable. The pool area was clean, well maintained and relaxing. We loved being able to order food and drinks directly from our sunbeds using the QR code, with quick and friendly service every time. The steps leading directly down to the beach were another feature we really appreciated. One absolute highlight was the Cliff Bar. The views over the Mediterranean are breathtaking, the atmosphere is magical and the cocktails are among the best we have ever had. The young bartender with blond hair made an outstanding Espresso Martini, and every drink we tried was beautifully prepared. This is a place we would recommend to everyone visiting the hotel. We chose the breakfast buffet, and it exceeded our expectations. The selection was extensive, with fresh fruit, breads, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, fish, eggs, freshly squeezed juices and excellent coffee. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. The restaurant staff worked incredibly hard throughout breakfast service. Our rooms had beautiful views, comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning. Room service was quick, and whenever we contacted reception with a question or a small issue, someone responded immediately. That level of service deserves recognition. The hotel also deserves praise for its peaceful atmosphere. Despite welcoming many families, it never felt noisy. There was pleasant background music in the elevators, but thankfully no loud music around the pool, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Like any hotel, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some parts of the rooms are beginning to show their age, and a few maintenance issues—such as worn fixtures and lighting—would benefit from attention. Adding air conditioning to the elevators would also make a noticeable difference during the hot summer months. These are relatively small details, but they would help the hotel fully live up to its five-star standard. One final suggestion concerns the breakfast restaurant. During busy periods, the staff worked extremely hard clearing tables. We believe introducing service trolleys or a clearly designated area where guests who wish to do so can place used dishes would make the process much more efficient and ease the workload for the staff. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and created memories that our family will cherish. The genuine hospitality of the staff is what makes Grecian Park truly special, and it is the reason we would happily recommend this hotel to others. This was our second stay at Grecian Park Hotel, and once again it exceeded our expectations. The staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location overlooking Konnos Bay is simply beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grecian Park Hotel, and it truly exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The hotel itself has everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. My room was beautiful, spacious and incredibly comfortable. The bed was excellent, the bathroom was modern, and I especially appreciated how well-lit it was – something that’s often overlooked in many hotels. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and I loved the thoughtful little touches, such as the chocolates left in the room on a couple of occasions. It was always a pleasure returning to the room after a day at the beach. It took me a little while to get used to the air conditioning controls, but that was simply my unfamiliarity with the system rather than any issue with the hotel. The food and service throughout our stay were exceptional. We stayed on a full-board basis and thoroughly enjoyed every meal, with breakfast being our favourite. The restaurant staff were always welcoming, attentive and efficient. We’d especially like to thank Soteria and Vassilis (apologies if I’ve misspelt your names) for making breakfast such a lovely experience each morning. The evening entertainment during dinner was also a lovely touch and created a great atmosphere. One of the things we really appreciated as full-board guests was receiving vouchers to dine at two of the hotel’s à la carte restaurants. We visited Umi Japanese Fusion and Ravioli’s, which added even more variety to our stay. Umi was an absolute highlight – the food was outstanding, and the staff were incredible. We enjoyed it so much that we would have happily returned for a second visit if we’d had more time during our week-long stay. Although we didn’t use the swimming pool, that’s only because we’re beach lovers. One of the main reasons we chose the Grecian Park Hotel was its fantastic location, and we absolutely loved how close it is to the beach. The steps are certainly a workout, but we enjoyed them, and it’s great that the hotel also provides a shuttle bus for anyone who prefers not to use the stairs. We also enjoyed using the gym and had fun playing table tennis during our stay. As cat lovers, we were delighted to see the friendly cats around the hotel grounds—they were an unexpected bonus! A special thank you also goes to Marina at reception, who was incredibly helpful in assisting us with booking our day trip to the Troodos Mountains. We had an amazing day and really appreciated her friendly and helpful service. There was one small issue when we arrived, as only one of our two separately booked rooms initially appeared on the reservation. However, the receptionist resolved the situation quickly and professionally, and we had both of our rooms without any further problems. We really appreciated how efficiently this was handled. If I had any suggestions for improvement, they would only be small ones. The hotel already provides information about its facilities and activities through the screen at reception, the in-room TV and the daily leaflet. However, during our stay I happened to meet another couple waiting for the lift who had just finished a pottery class. I had no idea the hotel offered this, and it looked like such a fun activity. As we were only staying for a week, we’d unfortunately already missed the opportunity to take part. Perhaps there could be an even more prominent or proactive way of highlighting the daily activities and experiences available, as I’m sure many guests would enjoy them if they knew about them. Another small suggestion would be regarding the fridge in the room. The hotel kindly provided a complimentary bottle of water every day, which was very much appreciated, especially in the Cypriot heat. However, the fridge itself didn’t have much usable space for storing additional bottles of water that we’d bought to keep chilled for drinking in the room and to take out during the day. A little more fridge space for guests’ own drinks would make an already excellent room even better during the summer months. Overall, we had an amazing holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Grecian Park Hotel to anyone visiting Cyprus. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional and genuinely welcoming, and it’s clear that everyone works incredibly hard to make guests feel looked after.
