The Golden Coast Beach Hotel

I had a massage at the spa and have to say it was probably the best massage I've ever received. Irena the therapist made me ache in parts of my body that I never knew could ache. Painful but pleasant (as the saying goes, 'No pain, no gain') ☺️ The facilities in the spa are top notch and the welcome from Inga and Victoria was excellent. In fact the whole experience was excellent. A big thank you to the whole team at the spa.

Fly with tui from Manchester all went well picked up and dropped off at hotel first impression ok a little work going on outside hotel but tui did inform us before we fly and asked if we wanted to change hotel but it was not bad and did not hear it at the pool ect reception was what you would expect from a 4 star hotel 2 lovely ladies very polite she did forget our wristbands but was soon rectified and very apologetic lifts small but adequate room was very modern touch pad for lights aircon ect tried to put aircon on but it was blowing hot air went to reception but was told aircon was not turned on yet it’s only heating but after about 5 days aircon started working but heard a few more guest around the pool saying they could not sleep it was to warm so maybe management decide to turn it on ? Pool area was clean but it is only small and I guess if the hotel was full you will struggle for sunbeds but as the beach is so close just down some steps you would probably go the the beach onsite shop very good spa looked ok and guests was having massages ect The hotel is 2.5 miles from fig tree bay and protaras shops and bars along the sea front you can walk it as there is a walk way all the way about 45 to 50 mins there is nothing else around this hotel 1 shop and 1 restaurant up the road Bus stops outside hotel bus 102 to go to Ayia Napa and bus 101 to get back every 15 mins 2 euros each cash only no cards ect The servers in the hotel and restaurant was excellent but one of the head seaters was to hands on with the servers grabbing there arms and giving them orders you should not put your hands on anyone in that way you could tell the difference when he was not on it was more relaxed and enjoyable than when he was on we once got up to get our pudding and they had cleared our table inc drinks he was on The pool guy kept every nice and tidy sunbeds back in Line and everything tidy NOW FOR THE BAD BITS Cats inside the restaurant there is 4 resident cats that come into the restaurant every meal time sit on chairs ect and people feeding them at the tables I don’t know about you but any animal inside the restaurant unless it’s a guide dog or anything of that nature is unacceptable for a 4 star hotel The food is not the best my wife will eat and try anything she is not fussy eater but she was struggling to find something there is always chips and chicken nuggets which I had most days it was ok but it is poor for a 4 star some fruit was put out mouldy for breakfast one day the food was at best warm but scrambled eggs and things like that was cold The fence around the pool looks like it’s been painted by kids from the local pre school The view out of our room was onto someone allotment with chickens and cockerels so was woken up early hrs with cockerel doing its thing The waste from the hotel to the waste bins was on trailer and golf buggie driving past or balcony around midnight most nights and it’s not a quite trailer Protaras is a nice area and if you are planning to go to this area I would look for a better hotel near town as there is nothing to do at this hotel and nothing around it

ROOMS modern with usb charging points at the side of the bed. Beds and pillows really comfy. Good walk in shower and hot. POOL good pool very cold this time of year tho lovely setting and good sunbeds. Indoor pool kids loved it. FOOD not really to our liking however you could always find something to eat. Al A CARTE Limited menu but the food was good. ENTERTAINMENT Something on every night and the guy what runs it was very friendly DRINKS fantastic drinks package dissarono johnny walker red label prosecco plus flavoured frappes also soft drinks good not your rolla cola STAFF the staff couldn't do enough for you absolutely brilliant nothing too much trouble Would we stay here again definitely yes. Not at the beginning of April tho as the weather was hit and miss.

Always enjoy coming back here Tried the spa for the first time this time and it was fantastic- great massage and facial in a lovely environment. Very professional and friendly staff.

We had a great time at this hotel. The food was amazing and the service was brilliant. All of the staff were lovely people. The hotel was always clean. There is entertainment for both kids and adults at evening/night time. Good vibes all round. Not a bad thing to say. I would highly recommend!
