Unbelievable loud and bad disco music from the other side of the beach . You can’t sleep with open windows. It’s so hard that a building is shaking. The reception is unavailable by phone to ask when will be the party over?? Very disappointing!

Every year we stay at Aminess in Makarska, but this year we decided to try a different hotel because of its excellent reviews. Unfortunately, after our first day, I'm not as impressed as I expected to be. The room appeared to be clean, which was a good start. However, after a long journey, I was really looking forward to a bottle of water, and I was surprised that there wasn't any in the room—not even bottled water available for purchase. For a hotel of this standard, that seems like a basic amenity. The pool area also felt quite disorganized. There was no clear indication of where to collect pool towels, and many sunbeds were occupied with hotel towels despite very few people actually using the pool. It would be helpful if staff periodically checked unattended loungers and removed towels if they've been left unused for an hour or so, allowing other guests to enjoy them. I was also under the impression that the hotel had its own sunbeds by the beach, but I was informed that all beach loungers are privately operated and require payment. The dinner buffet was another disappointment. While the food was decent, the selection was more limited than I expected, and the buffet layout wasn't well suited for the number of guests dining. Long lines formed quickly, making the experience feel crowded and inefficient. Based on my experience so far, I would currently rate this as more of a 3-star experience rather than the higher standard I was expecting. I'm hopeful the rest of our stay improves, and if it does, I'll gladly update my review.

A lovely hotel right by the beach. The Soline is a big hotel and clearly very popular with young families who enjoy the paddling pool and main/partly covered pool with their inflatables. We really enjoyed our meals (half board), there was a huge choice and variety and everything was delicious. Well done to the staff for catering so well for such a busy restaurant. It was disappointing to see so many people piling their plates and then wasting food in large quantities! Special mention to Anita and Filip who were very sweet and kind to everyone. The evenings with live music were really great, lovely to sit and listen in the garden after dinner. The hotel is clean and modern inside with comfortable bedrooms. Externally it is very striking architectuallary! Brela is a pretty place and the pine covered walkway is beautiful although it was very busy while we were there and clearly enjoyed by many. The spa provided quiet and cool relief out of the heat and the massage by Tessa was great. There is also a hairdresser but we didnt use it. Sun bed reserving as always is rife.....please think twice before laying your towels out and then going out for the morning!The hotels signs are just ignored.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Stay Overall We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is in a beautiful location with clean. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety, especially the freshly made chef-made cheesy omelette, served hot and delicious. Dinner also offered plenty of tasty choices. The hotel was sometimes crowded, but still well organized. Staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and we would happily return.

We had an overall wonderful stay at Hotel Soline and truly appreciated the kindness and hard work of the entire team. However, there is one aspect of our stay that we would like to mention as constructive feedback. During breakfast, the chef preparing the omelets (Sultana) repeatedly asked us to leave a review. After being asked several times, we wrote a genuine review because we did appreciate her work and wanted to recognize it. Unfortunately, the requests did not stop. The following days she continued asking me personally whether I had written my own review. She even approached me during dinner to ask again. This made us feel increasingly uncomfortable and awkward, to the point where going for breakfast no longer felt relaxed. We completely understand that positive reviews are valuable, and we are always happy to leave one when we genuinely want to. However, repeated personal requests can make guests feel pressured. We hope this feedback is taken in the constructive spirit in which it is intended, as everything else about our stay was excellent. The hotel has many wonderful employees—both those guests see every day and those working behind the scenes—and they all deserve recognition for their contribution. Seeing how many reviews specifically praise one employee made us reflect on our own experience.
