Medena Apartments

Scandalous, absurd. They put me in an apartment that smelt of smoke. There was a pungent, toxic smell of smoke. Unfortunately, I arrived late, so I could only ask for a change the next day. I asked for a refund, but I didn't get it. The rooms are advertised as non-smoking.... They charged extra for parking, even though it is listed in the room amenities, and when booking it was not written that you would have to pay extra for it. But that wasn't the worst. They have a guy who has been banging on my door for several days. Specifically, he was banging on the door with his fist. It was terrifying. I don't know if he was high, or on what grounds, or why they let him run wild. He's an employee of Medena anyway. I've never had such a surreal experience, even though I've been to quite a few places. I'll never go there again.

Where to start? 45 mins to check in, the apartment can on be described as Hi Di Hi in true 1960 style! Apartment had broken bin lids and not hot water instructions ( outside the bathroom there is a switch swhich you are never told of) Most of the “resort” back onto another apartment so no sea views. Staff none existent 30 mins to get served at the bar with literally no other customers. If you can’t afford Uber don’t book the place is miles from nowhere, on site supermarket open 7am-3pm with very overpriced and very limited stock. If you’re coming to Croatia stay in Split centre.

We had a fantastic stay at Apartments Medena. The location is unbeatable—nestled in a beautiful pine forest just steps away from the beach. It was so refreshing to wake up to the smell of pines and the sound of the waves. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a lovely balcony. We particularly enjoyed the long seaside promenade that leads all the way to Seget Donji. It’s an ideal spot for families with kids because of the various activities and the safe, pebble beaches. Highly recommended for a relaxing Dalmatian holiday!
