Zaton Holiday Resort Camping Homes

Really enjoyed our holiday, my teenagers loved the pool. Everything you could need is onsite, the boat trip was a particular highlight. It was nice being able to walk into Nin as we didn’t have a car.

the location of mobile homes is terrible. the holiday for its money is not worth it. you also have to pay for sunbeds at the pool and at the beach and it is very pricey. mobile homes are not very practical…rooms are big enough but the ac doesnt work very vell. rooms could be cleaner as well. in kitchen is very small amount of dishes and they are not practical at all… the atmosphere is good but after 22.00 you can barely buy a drink. it is great for kids but not for teenagers. after 22.00 everything shuts down so it is very quiet, but in the day time you can heaf a lot of kids yelling around an it van be a little annoying. after all i would give it a 4/10

Came from UK. Family of 4. Booked with Eurocamp. Overall we had a lovely holiday. The resort is huge. The grounds are beautiful, clean and well kept. We had a Premium lodge which was basic, but clean and comfortable. We ate at several of the resorts restaurants which were all good. The supermarket is well stocked and not too expensive. The resort is a short walk from Nin which is a really pretty little town. We did the beach horse ride which was a magical experience. We did a boat trip over to one of the quieter islands which was a great day out. All the staff we dealt with were pleasant and helpful. Couple of negatives. The resort is over run with electric scooters with people of all ages travelling way too fast on them. The pools are large but incredibly crowded, that said we are at the height of the summer so perhaps not unexpected. Paying for the loungers can put an extra £200 on the holiday price if you get 4 every day. We have had a fun holiday and would recommend the resort.

We had half board, and every time we had to wait for a table to become free and to be cleared. The restaurant’s capacity is completely inadequate. In one part of the restaurant, the food was cleared away well before closing time, which then caused queues to form. The food was always the same and of very poor quality. Dining was a very unpleasant part of the day for us and completely ruined our stay.

I think this is very expensive for what it is. The accommodation is okay. Excellent toilet blocks and cooking facilities for those actually camping. The holiday homes are okay but a bit of a lottery as to whether you get a dishwasher or anything more than a microwave to cook in. The on site restaurants aren't great. There are loads but they all have pretty much the same menu. Nin is an easy walk and has nice restaurants and 2 bigger supermarkets. But the real downside are the hidden charges. €15 an hour per child for the inflatable fun park, same for the gaming room. You have to go and ask about each activity so you can't even plan your expenses in advance. They have a fun park on site and all the rides are about €5 per to but these only take cash and all the cash machines charge €5 per transaction. It costs €20 a day for a parasol and deck chairs. Deck chairs police are in attendance! You can just throw your bags on the side of the pool and some shady spots of the beach but it does rather take the result shine off things.
