Aminess Liburna Hotel

Amazing view, beautiful rooms, polite staff, great food, quiet location but still close to the old town.

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Korcula old town. With the beach on the doorstep of the hotel, the location is fantastic. We made use of the pool during the day, with plenty of sun loungers available and a very relaxed atmosphere. The room was very spacious, with a view looking out towards the carpark side of the hotel, which was obscured by the trees and plants, providing privacy to enjoy the outdoor terrace area. The room had everything we need and was kept spotlessly clean by the wonderful cleaning ladies. We enjoyed a very varied breakfast each day, which catered for all needs. We sampled the evening meals which were equally delicious. We were also lucky to stay on a Friday evening, when we enjoyed the wonderful traditional band, the band were wonderful even offering to move to so the baby good sleep, which was not needed as she loved the music. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Usually, hotels look better in the photos than they do in real life, but this one truly lived up to all our expectations. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a great variety of delicious food. The staff was warm, friendly, and always happy to help. The hotel is well-equipped, very clean, and in a perfect location, just a short walk from Korčula Old Town. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

We stayed here for 2 nights. The positives: The view over the bay towards the old town is stunning and its a pleasant walk into town along the coast from there. The hotel has a small but pretty pool although its cut off from the view which is a shame. The second room we had (after staff helpfully responded to our request to change it) was on the 3rd floor which was much better - we had a partial view to the town & a major view over a side street garbage type area. The room was clean & functional. Breakfast is fine & the view from the terrace made it delightful! The hotel staff were all very helpful and polite (I think they needed more.) The less positives; I suspect the mixed reviews depend on whether you have a sea view room or not. The problem with the garden view rooms is they mainly look over the car park or our 1st room was on the ground floor & looked onto a fence close by the end of the balcony and a couple of plant pots, it felt like a claustrophobic mosquito trap! There is so much potential in this hotel but its rather wasted. It could be stunning but its just mediocre in terms of decour & services. The private beach is just slabs of concrete next to the rocks. Beach chairs & parasols could have made all the difference. We loved Korcula & the hotel was clean, convenient... a 3* standard. The view made it for us though.

Arrived today. Room is very dark , almost basements like. I tried to Complain- they advised that alternative rooms had worse locations and outlook to outside. We were told General manager was too busy with meetings and phone calls ( we left premises for 4 hours) . We arrived Sunday afternoon. Manager of hotel not reachable until Monday 8 am.
