Hotel Malin

We stayed for several days in a superior double room with balcony and sea view with an extra sofa-bed for the third person, which was defenitely not a good idea. The room was lavish and clean, with very modern decor, crisp linens and towels, but was too small to accommodate 3 adults. There was literally no space to move around or to store the luggage. The bathroom was almost as small as the aircraft's toilet, but was super modern and clean (no amenities though). It seems the third guest (booked and paid for) was somehow not acknowledged by the property as everything in the room was made for 2, which was really annoying and made our stay incomfortable. The sofa-bed was very small/short and rock hard, not suitable for an adult, and although I like hard mattresses, it was a torture. Coffee in the room was charged (2€ per capsule), while tea was free—unexpected for a hotel of this category. Moreover, the room was not cleaned properly—there was no dusting, no vacuuming, and items were not refilled or replaced for actual number of guests. The common areas were well maintained, updated and clean, the pool area was very nice and relaxing, the spa area was not functioning at all and was dead. The breakfast was fantastic with an excellent quality and a huge variety of options, including allergy-friendly choices. The staff there were all great, proactive, professional and polite, others on the premises were also frendly and helpful, althoug communication among reception staff should be better. We ate several times at the hotel restaurant on the beach. The food was expensive but very tasty. However, there was some inconsistency in service. Although breakfast was included, we found the daily rate to be excessive for this time of year, and it felt more in line with what Le Méridien and InterContinental typically charge. Due to the overall performance of the staff, the breakfast and the positive attitude of the hotel manager at check-out, I added one more star.

Our stay at your hotel left us very disappointed, and I will not be returning in the future. It is completely unacceptable that the wall between two neighboring rooms was constructed from a wardrobe. As a result, I was woken every morning at 6:30 by crying children and could clearly hear entire conversations from the adjoining room. I reported this issue to the reception by email, politely requesting either a change of room or some form of compensation, but my message was completely ignored. Regarding cleanliness, everything was satisfactory. However, the design of the bathrooms was highly impractical. The shower cabin was extremely small, seemingly intended for children rather than adults, despite the fact that the bathroom itself was spacious enough to accommodate a proper shower. Additionally, there were no toilets near the pool area or the dining/reception area; the only available toilets were inside the rooms, which was very inconvenient. The food was acceptable, but far from impressive. For a four-star hotel, the variety was extremely limited and many dishes were frequently repeated, especially compared to other 4* and even 3* hotels we have visited in the past. The desserts offered at dinner were particularly disappointing.

Love this hotel, great location. I like the most animator Nika. She is great with kids and very dear and friendly. Every day is happy and in a good mood. My kid love her and how she is doong and she makes a greatest body paints. See ya next year :) :) :) :)

Excellent hotel , very good staff ,great food and drink . Very comfortably rooms with fresh towels every day. Nice pool and spa and very good cocktails . Would stay again in this area as plenty to see and a visit to the falls is a must., a long walk involved but worth it.

I have just had one of the best facials at the wellness spa in the Malin. I felt very well looked after by E n I s a . Thank you for looking after me so well. I would also recommend having a massage . I had the T h a l g o hearth of the oceans facial . Highly recommend it.
