Valamar Carolina Hotel & Villas

The hotel is in a beautiful location with lovely beaches set in a pine forest. The hotel has been renovated, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable enough. The food is good and varied. This year, the hotel is advertised as “pet friendly,” and there were quite a few guests staying there with their dogs. What is disturbing, however, is that dogs are allowed to enter the restaurant, where the staff also interact with them. Some members of the staff even pet the dogs and then continue working with cutlery, which is unhygienic. Larger dogs touch the table surfaces with their snouts, and none of the staff address this issue — the tables remain uncleaned. The rooms are not separated into “pet-friendly” and other areas, meaning that dogs can be accommodated in all rooms, which was very unpleasant for us.

There were a lot beautiful beach. Valamar Carolnia is wonderful, there are playroom, very good gym. The hotel was always clean. In the room we had a comfortable bed. All the employee was kind. This hotel is pretty well positioned because there are no disturbing noises. It is not cheap but worth the price of it. The location is for me perfect because it is not soo crowded.

Staying at this hotel was a true revelation. Nestled in a magical location, surrounded by fragrant pine forest and the gentle sound of waves, it offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and serene silence. The view from the terrace is simply breathtaking — the turquoise sea stretches out just ten meters below the pool. The rooms are impeccably clean, tidy, and fragrant, with thoughtful details that radiate warmth and care. The entire hotel exudes harmony and comfort, as if designed to soothe both body and soul. The restaurant is a feast of flavors — from fresh local ingredients to international cuisine, every dish is prepared with love. Each meal was a small gastronomic delight, and the variety is so rich that even the most demanding palates will find something to enjoy. The pool is a peaceful oasis, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas for all guests. It’s the ideal spot to unwind with a book or cocktail as the sun gently dips below the horizon. And when you crave refreshment, the crystal-clear sea awaits just a few steps away. I truly hope to return. All praise to the staff and the ambiance — this is a place you joyfully come back to. The final impression is that this wasn’t just a vacation, but a moment of peace, beauty, and recharging. It’s hard to leave, but even harder to forget.

We have been coming to this hotel for three years now and have had only positive experiences. The rooms and the hotel in general are immaculately clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's nice to see familiar faces among the staff and among the many returning guests. It makes you feel like you are coming home. The food is varied, fresh and plentiful. The breakfast is the best of any similar hotel we have stayed in so far. The food is generally like home-cooked, and the pastries are varied and delicious. Our only comment is that, at this price, the breakfast fruit juices could perhaps be freshly squeezed. The hotel is under new management from this year. We have noticed a few changes, comoared to the previous years but the quality of service has remained above average, as usual at Valamar. Thank you Carolina staff, we will definitely return next year.
