Isabella Island Villas

The staff overall were really friendly. The facilities were nice and the rooms were clean. Mini golf, table tennis, volleyball and renting boats at the hotel were all really fun (some at a fee, but not too bad) The food had good variety with pretty good quality. Lunch restaurants are more pricey though. It is worth the mention that some staff (night time security and one of the pool restaurant's servers) were very rude to us and very dismissive. My friends and I were sitting in the lobby late at night (around 1 or 2 am) talking and laughing and generally just having a good time at the couches. We were honestly loud but not a lot of people were around and nobody seemed to mind, so we continued in our conversation. However, around 2 am one the staff came up to us stating: "party is over, you need to leave to your rooms in 2 minhtes. You guys are too. Loud." Then walked away. Overall it was very rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Since we came here for our school trip, he probably thouught it was okay to boss us around and parent us (even though we are residents/guests). He treated like we were children, and we know he would've never spoken to us like that if we were older. We obviously left when be told us, thinking maybe there was a quiet time or some rule of the hotel we were not sure about. However, the next morning we told the receptionist, who was a lovely understanding lady (she apologized), about whether there was some sort of quiet time rule, there was not. We can understand that we were laughing loud, but he could've told us to quiet down a little first instead. He had no right to boss us around and pretend like he were our parent. He was straight up rude and acted entitled. Additionally, we were charged 7 euros at the infinity pool restaurant (Mira mare restaurant i believe) for a bottle of water without us knowing. When we asked about it, he just shrugged dismissively. It is also worth a mention that when he was trying to sell us sparkling wine and one of us told him we didn't really like it, he got extremely defensive as if we were in the wrong (probably because he failed at trying to upsell us a bottle). Overall, most staff are so so lovely and we felt very comfortable and welcomed (especially the receptionists and the Isola kitchen staff). Such nice people and great facilities, we just happened to stumble into those that weren't nice all in the same day. I'd come back though.

The best view so far! We enjoyed the good food, the beautifully maintained and decorated surroundings, the extremely friendly staff and the cleanliness. The beach was a paradise for the children and they really enjoyed the maro playroom and their workshops.

A beautiful location , stunning country and a top class resort ! One of the main positives is the amazing staff, special mention to Andrea at the Momenti restaurant, the brilliant bar staff and Jasmina for making it all run so smoothly. Our 3rd visit and we will be back again soon. !

An amazing experience and wonderful staff. I loved the bubbly event at 5 pm every day. The dinner i had in Miramare restaurant was beyond amazing and my kids absolutely loved Maro club and the whole animation team. We enjoyed the live music at bisto Vista

The superior villa with terrace and spectacular see side view cannot be topped by any of the other villas on the island. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to breakfast in the relaxed and excellent Momenti restaurant. We were also allowed to use the quiet and empty v-level beaches. For dinner we like the large selection of dishes in the main restaurant, so we found every evening a dish of our taste. The apartment was perfectly cleaned and serviced. We also enjoy the excellently maintained park on the island. This stay was really a relaxing week. Summary: we recommend Valamar Isabella Island and will come again.
