Aladdin Beach Resort

The animation team were fantastic, lots of different activities to keep the little ones entertained. Thanks so much to Jasmine, she is so lovely with the children.

The location is great. We had the best time snorkelling on the beach, seeing a wealth of incredible sea life. The rooms were always clean, comfortable and well maintained (we had two rooms). We were pleasantly surprised to find they had upgraded us on arrival, for no extra cost. The main hotel restaurant is a bit questionable, but we ate in two of the special restaurants (Sushi and Italian) and they were great: you could book them in the kiosk in reception. Hotel entertainment was very average, and in the 6 days we were there repeated itself at least twice. The performers didn’t look all that happy, but the costumes were amazing. Other families seemed to enjoy it, but it wasn’t for us.

We stayed at Aladdin Beach Resort with our family in July 2026. Unfortunately, our arrival turned into an extremely upsetting experience because of an issue with my 17-year-old daughter’s booking. My mum had made a separate booking and, in June, added my daughter to her booking. The additional payment had been made to On the Beach, so we arrived at the hotel believing everything had been arranged correctly. After travelling all day, we arrived at the hotel only to be told that my daughter was not showing on my mum’s booking. We were told that the only way she could stay was for us to pay again. We simply did not have the money to pay a second time, and as On the Beach were closed, we were unable to contact them until the following day to get the issue resolved. What made the situation even worse was the way we were treated by some of the reception and security staff. My 17-year-old daughter was not allowed to stay in the hotel while the booking issue was being sorted, despite us explaining the circumstances. Thankfully, my other daughter lives in Egypt, so she was able to collect her and let her stay with her for the night. While waiting for her sister to finish work and collect her, we walked down towards the gates. We stayed inside the gates because outside there are often men approaching guests offering taxi services. Reception had apparently contacted security, and a security guard came over and told us that my daughter had to leave and could not be there. We explained that we were simply waiting for her sister to collect her, but this was completely ignored and she was made to leave the hotel grounds and stand outside. The whole experience made us feel like absolute criminals, when in reality we were simply trying to resolve a booking issue that was not our fault. The attitude and treatment from some of the reception and security staff was, in my opinion, completely unacceptable and extremely upsetting, particularly given that my daughter was only 17. Thankfully, the following day the situation was resolved after On the Beach confirmed that my daughter was in fact included on the booking. She was then allowed back into the hotel. We tried our best not to let this experience spoil the rest of our holiday, and thankfully the remainder of our stay was fine. I would definitely return to Egypt, as we love the country, but sadly I would never stay at Aladdin Beach Resort again. The way we were treated on arrival, and especially the way my 17-year-old daughter was treated by reception and security, completely ruined our impression of the hotel. Problems with bookings can happen, but it is how guests are treated when those problems arise that really matters.

Amazing experience, loved every minute of it in Egypt. Aladdin is an amazing place with fab people, staff and the animation team was fantastic, always getting people involved.. we would defo return

Hotel is amazing, kids had a ball at pools and anamation team are fantastic with everyone , the hotel is close by to shops and food is fantastic my kids are fussy eaters and they had food for them every day. Would really recommend this hotel as we will defiantly be back
