Royal Lagoons Aqua Park Resort & Spa

Just done 10 days at royal lagoon and overall review is 4.5/5. The .5 deduction i will mention below but will give my summary below The staff are all pleasant and will help you in anyways. Rooms cleaned everyday with a towel display too which the kids loved! Bar staff were great! Had some table service during the day around the sunbeds! Entertainment team do their job, excursion team come round daily but we done 4 trips with them and all fantastic and kid friendly! Might get it cheaper online but booking with hotel provides transport and drinks on each tour! Food. Yes its repetitive but they do a theme night each night so not everything is the same. There is like a separate grill bit when you go to the left which is good most nights. We found if you ask for chicken nuggets you will get some cooked. There not the same as what you get home but the kids found them okay. Snack bar. Early afternoon its doughball and late afternoon after lunch its burgsrs pizza and chips! Best food in my opinion BUT its all hands on deck with the food as the hotel implys a queuing system but doesn't work. No one follows up or gives anyone into trouble so for example it should be split into 3 lines for the pizza burger and chips. It doesnt work and people get annoyed. You have people skipping and takes loads of the same food which may mean you may need to wait. We had a family room which is just a big king size bed and pull out double bed from the couch. The room itself was cleaned daily and couldnt find a fault. The view we had was amazing.

Royal Lagoons Resort is truly a 5-star experience! The rooms are comfortable, the food is delicious, and the location on Al Mamsha is perfect. But what made our stay extra special was the Animation Team! Thank you for all the fun activities, pool games, and the wonderful shows every night. You are so talented, friendly, and full of positive energy. You made us feel like family. We loved the spa, the aqua park, and the beach too. Highly recommend this place to everyone looking for fun and relaxation
