The location, service, and the variety of activities available at this resort were fantastic! There’s a huge selection of things to do, and the beach is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning coral reef just waiting to be explored. The rooms are spacious and clean, though there were a few minor maintenance issues in the bathroom — nothing that detracted significantly from the experience. The food was varied and tasty, offering plenty of options to suit different tastes. What really stood out was the staff — they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made an effort to keep things fun and engaging. One downside to our stay was a staff member who made some uncomfortable advances towards my daughter, which we felt was inappropriate.

I booked this place because many reviews were saying that this is a quiet hotel. This it is not a quiet place at all. There is music from the pool day and evening. Especially in the evening it is very loud and annoying so that I could not sleep. So for people who want Party that is fine for people who like quiet don't go there

I was here for a week with my entire family (7 people). It is a great lodge with all the necessary facilities. Also a beautiful beach, great scuba diving (very nice staff!) and nice swimming pools. A special shoutout to Mr Ayman whom arranged special gluten free food for my three year old daughter every day. He made sure everything during our stay was great. We would definitely go back with our family.

Hello, I am in this hotel for the second time. Now with my daughter 16, so we were looking forward to enjoying a beautiful 14 days together. Our crazy vacation started already at the airport. Where we lost an envelope with everything... passports, flytickets, voucher, some money. The best part was that we didn't know about it at all. Until the customs officer shouted our names. And so we knew that our holiday would be a big ride. And she was too! We arrived at the hotel in the evening and were immediately sent to our restaurant for dinner. We had 5 minutes to do it. But it wasn't true. The staff took care of us right away. And the absolute best thing was that we immediately saw our friends from Switzerland. As if they were waiting for us there. They didn't know about us at all. It was a big surprise. And I must say very touching. We only see each other on our holidays and it's been a long time since we passed each other. Then we went to our room. Beautiful renovated room. My daughter immediately noticed the comfortable mattress. She just lay down and fell asleep right away. My sleep in Egypt is a little worse. I get up early in the morning. I walk along the beach and wait for the sunrise. Or I go snorkeling, I had it all at my fingertips because our bungalow had a beautiful view of the beach and the restaurant. The lodge hotel itself is a tiny. But it is located in a complex of 3 other hotels that you can visit. It is suitable for the older generation, for relaxation and rest, because it is peaceful. But we got out too. We went on the slides in aquapark. After dinner, we went for a walk around the whole area. We looked at the evening program. We could choose from two programs. One has Hotel Shams and the other in Hotel Imperial. We also went to see the Prestige Hotel, which is for adults only. And my daughter immediately fell in love with this one. So now I guess I'll have to wait until her eighteenth birthday before we can book it. I also really liked being in the sea. But take into account that it is only Hurghada! I always went to the Prestige Hotel in the morning and from there and I was swimming by the waves to our hotel. It was great. In front of the hotel, up to where the ships are anchored. There is more depth here. But in the morning the sea is almost without waves, so snorkeling is much more pleasant. I saw a tern, a dance of two lionfish, nemo, thistles, a moray eel. Unfortunately, I had no luck with the turtle. There is said to be a huge and very old one that can give you a kiss. Well, that's probably not entirely true, but she's not afraid people and will watch you and swim around you. I look forward to it, maybe next time. You can also arrange a excursion in the diving center, which is located next to the dining room. The staff are very helpful and will advise you where to look for a turtle and where to swim for coral. I also really liked the restaurant. You didn't have to take the food that was prepared that day, but you could order from the alacarte menu. But even this was not all. They will be happy to adjust the food from the menu according to your requirements. So when the Fright Seafood Carte restaurant was on the menu, I had the same thing prepared on the grill and I was very satisfied. I also saw when a family arrived with children who needed a gluten-free diet. A cook came right behind them and showed them what was appropriate. And the next day they already had special food and pastries ready. If you have a health problem, don't be afraid to say it. But actually, don't be afraid to solve any problem that comes up. Everyone will make sure your vacation is great. I also really liked the preparation of pizza outside directly in the oven or grilling Kofta, a slices of chicken meat was prepared and they served it all to you in such a small Egyptian grill directly on the table. So the food was warm with an oriental atmosphere. One day a week, fresh fish is prepared and you can choose what you eat and in what way. We tried tuna, crabs, calamari and some fish. It was very tasty and you could tell that everything was fresh. Even though the dining room is small, you can have different salads. There is always a soup on offer. You can also have some food prepared right in front of you. The menu we love is Egyptian rice with pasta. Not to forget the fruit desserts. It's all just in small quantities, so if you want huge tables full of food so don't go here. You won't see that here, this hotel is about something completely different. It's about peace, relaxation and good food. I liked to sit on the terrace of the dining room in the morning. I was looking at the sea and letting the wind blow … It was warm, but it was very pleasant. And the view of the sea, which has at least three, four colors. My daughter and I also used the Princess Spa center and we were very satisfied. On the first day, we ordered a Turkish hmmam with a Kleopatra massage. It is a procedure to prepare my skin for tanning. We laughed a lot. Because during the Kleopatra massage, we were exfoliated with grated coconut, which we had everywhere. And now I would like to write something about the room, the equipment of the room was new, the mattresses were beautiful and soft, everything was clean. A huge mirror both in the bathroom and in the room, of course, a television and a beautiful huge shower with a window on the ceiling and therefore also a view of the sky and the palm tree. We were very satisfied with the room. The daughter was really excited because everything was coordinated and from the room it was really a little bit to the beach and a little bit to the dining room. So if an elderly person wants to go with mom and dad, there will definitely be no problem. The daughter celebrated her here name day. It's nothing big to celebrate. But I wanted to make her a nice day. I got up early in the morning. The staff helped me prepare breakfast for her and brought it to my room. Mr. Ayman made a big surprise…. He let our room decorated and in the evening he had a cake prepared with her name. The daughter was completely wow because she had never had such a day full of surprises. She simply didn't expect it. And I have to say that I was surprise too. The daughter immediately knew whose work it was and so she shared the cake. We both enjoyed it very much. Big thanks for small things which made her day so big. I would like to highly commend the employee who took care of the beach. Everything was always tidy. Between the sunbeds, he smothered paths with a cylinder to make it easier for us to walk. He knew we wanted sunbeds in the shade. In the afternoon after lunch, when we returned to the beach, our sunbeds were already prepared in the shade. On the contrary, in the evening, he always helped us remove the screen so that the sun would shine beautifully on us. We witnessed some misunderstanding with the sunbeds. He carried a cloth screen for one of the ladies across half the beach so that she would be happy and have a sunbed in the first row. He also helped deliver drinks when the waiter had a lot of glasses on his tray. And then again he helped to collect these glasses. The hotel staff were great. The best team led by Mr. Ayman who is always smiling. Mr. Safwat who always knew what I needed. Head waiter Mr Ahmed quiet and helpful who called us Habbibi. Mahmoud the waiter who made us the best cold Karkade every morning. Momo, who used to do silly things with my daughter and always came up with variations of light meals for me. Everyone did what they saw in front of us. I would also like to highlight the work of Mr Ayman. He was constantly shuttling between the Prestige Hotel and the Lodge. He ran through the hotel, found out what was needed. I saw that he solved problems with the guests in the dining room, that he also came to see them on the beach or at the bar. He came perhaps 100 times a day to make the hotel perfect according to his ideas. He kept asking if everything was okay and how we were doing. His daughter was already rude to him and preceded him with questions. How are you? How is your day today? Are you very busy today? We laughed because she was demanding his answer. If you want to buy some small things, then we have to go in front of the hotel in the direction of the next hotel. There are a few small shops. Unfortunately, we only found out on the way home. 14 days here went like water and we started packing. We left early in the morning. In the dining room, we asked for a package for the trip. I keep returning to the Shams Lodge. I leave my husband at home and go and find peace. These are modern bungalows which are right on the beach. They are just across from the diving centre too. I learned to scuba dive there. I see friends who recognise me and welcome me. The Lodge restaurant is beautiful too. The guys in there provide an excellent and very professional service. They are the kindest kindest people and always stop to ask after you. The food is always excellent. Everyone seems genuinely concerned that you have everything you need. Every sun rise is right outside your door over the sea. It’s beautiful. The lodge is one of four parts of a hotel so if you need a more lively scene there are different bars and a huge pool with colourful slides for the kids. The Lodges have a private pool with sun beds which is quieter. If you wish, you can go snorkelling, or go on horse or camel rides. There are plenty of shops and a few ATMs near the hotel. The hotel has a fabulous spa. The staff there are fully trained professionals and offer a wide range of treatments. They have become my good friends over the years. The hotel is 40 minutes from the airport on a single straight highway. The shopping mall is 20 mins from the hotel - half way between the hotel and airport but it’s expensive. I go back to two or three times a year to the Lodge. I love it.
