Stella Di Mare Beach Hotel & Spa

This will be our 14th time at this Hotel, we have been coming here for many years now. Before we arrive each time and we always check out the latest reviews. I have to say the 2% of reviews that leave a negative review are all entitled to their opinion but please look at the comparison of 5 star reviews, this itself tells a very different story and one I personally fully agree with. I have to say that yes there are 7 star Hotels that may have better amenities but I think you would be hard pushed to find better staff and food. Also the rooms may seem a tad dated but they are always clean and fresh with one of the most comfortable beds and pillows I have ever experienced. All the staff are just brilliant but I have to mention two individuals in particular Mr Shenouda Farid and Mr Hany George who are the Director and Assistant director of food and beverage. Their attention to details are just impeccable they are always walking around talking to the guests and making sure they are okay and enjoying their holiday. Well done to everyone at this Hotel

We have just returned from an incredible stay at the Stella Di Mare Beach Hotel & Spa and honestly, this is the best all-inclusive resort experience we have had anywhere. Having travelled to resorts in Cancun, Gran Canaria, Paphos and Santorini, I can confidently say the food here was the best of them all. The variety was exceptional every single day, with plenty of healthy grilled meat options, fresh food, and BBQs every evening. Absolutely outstanding. What truly makes this hotel special though is the staff. At the main bar, Mohammed Hamdy and Kerolles Mina were exceptional from day one. They always greeted us warmly and somehow remembered exactly what we wanted depending on the time of day. During the daytime and evenings, our beers would often arrive before we even asked. Late at night when we returned from Naama Bay, they already knew it was time for cappuccinos. That level of attention and personal service is very rare. The poolside bar staff were equally fantastic. They remembered our names, our drinks, collected empties quickly, and always kept everything flowing smoothly. They genuinely felt more like friends than hotel staff. A special mention also has to go to Romany by the pool area. He handled towels, loungers and umbrellas with unbelievable efficiency all day long. He quickly remembered that my friend Gregg liked to stay in the sun while I preferred the shade, and every morning as soon as he saw us he would already be preparing our setup. Fast, alert, hardworking and constantly smiling. Reception staff Mahmoud, Mohammed Aymen and Salah Kamal were brilliant throughout the entire holiday. No request was ever too much trouble. They all knew us by name and always welcomed us warmly whenever we passed through reception. I normally never use hotel beauty centres, but Amira completely changed my mind. She convinced me to try a manicure and pedicure and she was excellent at her job. My hands and feet honestly looked amazing afterwards. The animation team, Sonia and Meliza, also deserve huge praise. They somehow convinced me to join activities I would normally avoid completely, including morning stretch classes, darts competitions and water polo. Their personalities, humour and energy were infectious and they made the whole atmosphere around the resort fun without ever being pushy. Alina from Guest Relations constantly checked in with us throughout the stay to make sure everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. That level of care and attention says a lot about how well this hotel is managed. One thing that really stood out throughout the resort was how personal everything felt. Although my name is Sherit, many of the staff affectionately called me “Shariff” because of the meaning it carries in Egypt, which was a lovely touch. By the end of the holiday it genuinely felt like the staff and guests had built real friendships. Everyone made me and Gregg feel incredibly welcome, and the feeling was absolutely mutual. I can honestly say there was not a single negative aspect of this resort during our stay. We will 100% be returning next year. My fifth time back to the hotel, this time as a solo traveller. My absolute second home and again, can't fault the amazing staff and the attention to detail. Being coeliac, I am so well looked after by Shenouda and his amazing food and beverage team, being walked round by chef Ibraham. Mina, bilal and David as always making my stay like feeling at home. So lucky to have found a place that will go above and beyond. Can't wait to return back in September!

Once again, our fourth visit here. If anybody ever writes a poor review for staff, food or anything of this hotel they need shooting. We’ve been different hotels around the world and this one has it all. Yes, you could fault this or fault that, but the plus is certainly far out way the minuses. I lost a chain somewhere we’re not sure if on the resort or outside or on the reef. They have done everything to try and find it ,Whaled and esam who are both in charge of recreational and beverage went above and beyond. The front desk I’ve never had such good banter and talking to the people on the reception with Salah, Mahmoud, then obviously hany, Ahmed,, and everybody else which I’m sorry and miss names everyone outstanding. Our bar in the lobby was CR7 Mohammed, Gerges, Mohammed, keroles, Isaac. Again anybody else we’ve forgotten I am so sorry they’re all awesome. Down the dining area now this could take a while because some good friends again, Mina, David (that’s his nickname) Sobian, Michael, Milad. ALAA, Once again sorry if I missed a couple of names because again they are all awesome. down the beach area who used to serve us without drinks down by the activities pool serving us was, Wale, Mohammed. And then on the towels and laces savers etc was Gerges, Nabil, Milad, and for our first week Macmoud , again in charge of the beverage of food who helped tremendously trying to find my chain was well, and E sam both in charge of food and beverage. asian restaurants outstanding service from all the guys again Milad, Romany. Beach bar again loads more friends in Mina, Emad , Gerges , Baz, i’m not forgetting Tony the chef and the other chefs, and the pool bar outside the main entrance was Milad, Bishoy, and not last and definitely not least who have become a very good friend of ours Hassan who does the Trips also email with him, but everyone I’ve mentioned I would class now as a friend and I know I’ve missed a couple which I can’t believe I have so 100% will come back here again and will do! Just returned again from a fabulous holiday in the Stella de mare and this was our 11 th time…the location is amazing with fabulous views over the Red Sea and gorgeous sunrise .the rooms are immaculate and have everything you need ,iron and ironing board,hairdryer,toiletries ,mini bar and tea and coffees.bathrobes and slippers and amazing soft towels.it is very well adapted for everyone,immaculately cleaned everyday by the hard working cleaners..most of all a shout out to management and staff who treat you like youre family..from top management to gardeners and cleaners they all make the holiday and hotel so special…a big Thankyou to Waleed taman on recreation and all his staff at the pools and jetties,who go over and beyond to make sure you have everything..Thankyou to the beach bar for mina and his staff and the entertainment from baseem who made us smile so much.also chef Tony who made our lunches special..Thankyou to the pool bars mina and bee shoo also abdo for the lovely drinks and coffees.thankyou to the lobby bar too for Isaac,always smiling,Mohammed and everyone for making the time for a few words and then the reception who always ae there for any queries..all in all THANKYOU TO EVERYONE AT THE STELLA DE MARE BEACH HOTEL
