Fairmont Bab Al Bahr

We are currently staying at the Fairmont and want to leave some feedback for the service staff and was directed to trip advisor. They are amazing and attentive and I particularly wanted to give a shout out to Jabeer in Marcos. I’m gluten intolerant and there is nothing for dessert other than ice cream on that menu. I didn’t want this so whilst my companions tucked into their delicious desserts I sat and watched. Until Jabeer appeared with a gluten free pudding from another restaurant. I didn’t ask for anything but he took it upon himself to find me something. All of the staff in the restaurants/porters/pool attendants work incredibly hard to make your stay seamless. If i had to leave a small criticism, there is nowhere in house to give positive feedback for individual staff who go above and beyond like Jabeer.

Really cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel. Situated across from the Grand Mosque, the view from our room was spectacular, especially at sunset. The staff really make this hotel next level. They are all extremely professional yet friendly and helpful. Great selection of restaurants on site, we tried the cafe sushi ( sushi at its best!) and the Lebanese restaurant and English pub ( very pretty at night ) with great food and lovely man serving us. My husband was unsure of what beer to choose so he eagerly gave him a few sample beers to try and this was appreciated. Facilities are beautiful and well maintained. Highly recommend this hotel and really hope to be back some day. The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom is huge. Loved the walk in large shower…. Not a big fan of stepping into the bath showers so this was appreciated. Mr Raymond at the front of the hotel directing the cars and his team were so slick at their jobs and super friendly to chat with while awaiting a taxi . This hotel has it all….

From the moment we arrived our stay was a memorable one. Celebrating our mum’s 80th Birthday. The hotel reception Manager upgraded us to a Suite with centre front views of the sea and mosque. Check-in was efficient. Even the breakfast and concierge staff were accommodating to all needs. There is a beautiful private beach too. The hotel is located centrally to access all tourist attractions. I would highly recommend it and come back. We want to say a great big thank to the Front Office Team, Mark, Kyi, Caren, Zalimar, Clarita and Sarath.

The service at this hotel exceeded our expectations. Every member of the team treated us with such courtesy and nothing was too much trouble. The beach and pool were brilliant and this hotel is ideally located for evenings out at Yas Island and day trips to Saadiyat Island and surrounding areas. We can also recommend the Yemeni restaurant over the road. And it is a 15 minute walk to the local market. All in all canot recommend this place enough and we will return!

Our family stay in this hotel was out of this world. Hotel, large sylish rooms, food, service and cost exemplary. Buffet and restaurant food - excellent standard. We were all inclusive and the drinks were generous and branded. Just couldn't fault anything. Staff were excellent but big shout out to Benjamin and Brett at the beach bar who made our stay very special We will definitely be going back!
