Savoy Central

Spacious rooms with lots of amenities, very polite and helpful staff, excellent breakfast choices, reasonable price and good location. Love to stay in any of the Savoy hotels. It has all the comfort a traveler needs.

We had a wonderful stay at Savoy Central Hotel Apartments and would gladly return. From check-in onward, the reception team was friendly, welcoming, and very informative. They truly went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, providing the perfect place to rest after long, hectic days walking around Dubai. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax and recharge. Breakfast was consistently excellent, with attentive service throughout. A special mention goes to Royston, who served our table with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. Special shout-out to the chef for the most incredible scrambled eggs — easily some of the best we’ve had and a real highlight of our stay. Our room was maintained to a very high standard by Vinod, the room steward. He was polite, respectful, and thorough—a true gentleman who took pride in his work. The hotel’s central location is a major advantage, offering easy access to both old and new Dubai, with many restaurants within close proximity, making dining out very convenient. Overall, this was a comfortable, well-managed stay with outstanding hospitality. I would highly recommend Savoy Central Hotel Apartments to anyone visiting Dubai.

We would definitely recommend this Hotel. Prior to our trip I was a little worried that the hotel was going to be a disaster how wrong was I. Savoy central and their staff were exceptional. Every one of the staff members were polite and would do their utmost to make you feel welcomed. We arrived long after 10 am and was so worried that we would be just waiting around in reverse for our room to be ready and to be able to check in. We were greeted by the lovely Avenash who made every effort to find us a room that was more or less ready and had a balcony. We probably waited around 30-40 minutes if that and was told our room was ready. We were in room 621 on the 6th floor. The room was perfect, very spacious and clean. We were happy as usually when we travel abroad it's not very often we like the first room that has been offered and we would normally as to change room. However in this instance the room worked well for us. The hotel is on a main road so expect traffic noise and general people traffic. This didn't bother us. Roof top pool was nice and peaceful. The gym I was pleasantly surprised well equipped for a good workout. I didn't use the sauna or steam, both small but I assume they would do the job that's expected. Suggestions: Put more cooking equipment in rooms, bigger size frying pan and at least a pot that you could heat milk. I know if you ask for equipment they provide but I think the basics, should be there especially whereby you have the facilities to prepare your own meals. Let guests know that you have to turn on the water heater near front door to get proper hot water We didn't realise this until the day before we left so nearly all of our showers were warm water not hot. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance and numerous 24hrs supermarkets. Night clubs inside some of the local hotels where you can have a drink and listen to good music. If you want spirits/wine or beer for your room you have to go to the Saver Cellar I think that's what it's called. Leave the hotel, turn left and walk towards the road that has the little late night street market, walk to the end of that road right to the end where you will be on a major high street cross over to the other side and you will see the shop but it's definitely not obvious it's very discreet and you need your passport or ID. Obviously you cannot buy alcohol anywhere else unless your in a bar lounge and I assume at a hotel but not at Savoy. The beach that the hotel takes you to was very boring, there was absolutely nowhere close to buy a soft drink or water. Bring a packed lunch and refreshments with you and a folding chair if you don't like lying on the sand although they do give you towels and mats for the sand. The water was cold too. The beach area looked like it use to be somewhere with lots going on but everything is closed down now which made it look like a ghost town. I took a trek to the MacDonald for a cold drink, there was a local supermarket next to Macdonald's too, my husband said I was gone for ages. We didn't wait for the pick up we took a taxi back. Savoy need to forewarn guests to bring refreshments. Would I recommend the Savoy Central hotel MOST DEFINITELY, would we revisit yes we would.

Savoy Central in Dubai is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff are professional, friendly, and always willing to help. The food is delicious and very diverse – there is something for everyone. Special thanks go to the waiter Royston, who served guests with a smile and fulfilled every request with great care. The room was spacious and included a fully equipped kitchen, which made the stay even more comfortable. The rooftop pool with warm water is a real highlight – the view of the city skyline and Burj Khalifa is breathtaking. Guests can also enjoy a sauna and a well-equipped fitness room. The location of the hotel is very convenient, and the complimentary hotel shuttle bus to the beach is a great bonus. I highly recommend this hotel – a perfect place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Dubai!

Trip was booked by Make My Trip .trip advisors were very good and cooperative ,they arranged for Cruise trip ,Burj Khalifa , Desert Safari ,but I am sorry to say that On 30 th September they have not sent me anywhere in full day and for Burj Khalifa trip advisors not informed me one day before and the day when I was on Cruise trip ,then after some time they sent me massage for desert safari on that day after about 1 and half hour that time Internet was not working on my phone ,so I could not get message and when I reached my Hotel then I came to know that my desert safari trip is missed ,so if they were informing me for desert safari in one day advance then I was able to go Desert safari trip , So I think amount charged for desert safari by Make my Trip must be refunded ,as on same day message was delivered to me very late and desert safari trip missed
