Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa

A friend and I stayed at this lovely hotel in May for 10 days.The hotel is central to all shops and the promenade is only a short walk away with lovely shops, cafes and restaurants.We were in room 1217 which is on the second floor, lovely room but we did have issues with noise at about 3.30 in the morning on some days with a dog barking until about 6am which kept us awake, also shouting from guest passing beneath our room early in the morning coming back from town as they had to go through reception, guest sitting on the outside chairs of the restaurant talking until early hours of the morning and noise from the restaurant staff setting up for breakfast. So if you don’t like noise these rooms above restaurant are not good for you.The weather was lovely for the whole 10 days we were there. All the staff we came across were so friendly and polite and work so hard, a credit to your hotel.Chambermaids work so hard and keep the rooms so clean. The hotel has 3 pools which were supposed to be heated but they were cold. The hotel also has an indoor pool. Food was good but a couple of times we tried the bread rolls and they were rock hard and also the avocado on a roll was hard and couldn’t cut into it.Would of liked to see a bit more variety in food as we felt the food was nearly the same each day. We were going on an excursion for a day and it was an early pick up so the day before we asked at reception if we could have an early breakfast for about 7.45 am and they said that was fine but it would only be tea, coffee and croissants etc which was fine. That morning we went down for breakfast but the restaurant wasn’t open so we had to ask at reception where it was and we went in this small room across from the restaurant and a table was laid up with hot water, t bags but no coffee. Also on the table was white and brown bread but no toaster, also a few little cakes and biscuits and brownies but the biscuits were hard.These items were leftovers from dinner the night before. We felt this wasn’t good for a breakfast when breakfast was included in our stay a few croissants and pain au chocolate would of been good as they don’t take long to cook and I expect there was a chef in the restaurant that time of the morning to cook some. We had to go on our excursion hungry. Everything else with our stay and holiday was excellent. We would come back as it’s a lovely hotel and wonderful staff.Well done Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa.

Jasons service was excellent so accommodating and friendly the whole trip would highly recommend a trip here Drinks were excellent food was lovely rooms are phenomenal aswell
