Aquila Elounda Village

Not 5 star Surroundings are clean and picturesque. Room is 4 star at best. Very basic. Food is good in the speciality restaurants. Some are chargeable even as all inclusive and the charging is confusing. Staff very polite and friendly but service is very very slow. Nowhere to sit and have a drink that is sheltered. Indoor lobby bar doesn’t open till 5pm. Multiple times we got bored of waiting for drinks and walked away. Really disappointed as this is our honeymoon.

We are halfway through our second year at this wonderful resort. A quietly elegant hotel that is a must if you love great food, friendly efficient service and beautiful surroundings. Don't mistake this place for crazy loud nights, entertainment is gentle singers, movie night with popcorn and a Dj that plays music that we know all the words to. The highlight here is the All Inclusive, it is so worth it, not just for the vast amount of food on offer, but for the inclusive drinks and cocktails. I have never had a more inclusive package than this. The food and beverage team are fantastic, always smiling and they work so hard. 5 days still to go wish it was 500

Back after two weeks at the village. Found it to be very clean, from room to bar to pool area. The staff were very helpful and always on hand. We had a side view room unfortunatly overlooking a half finished hotel. We found the room to be big but very basic. Had to ring down a few times to get mini bar topped up. All in all a nice hotel , we would say it is 4 star. Disappointed at the tax paid at the end of our holiday £180 , but I guess that's not the hotels fault.

What a fantastic experience at the spa today. Throughly enjoyed my massage with Sonia. So relaxing and just what was needed to start my holiday.

The hotel is lovely. Buffet breakfast and dinner was extensive but not really five star. Quite predictable. If you stay here, you have to use a taxi or rental car to visit local facilities. Bar prices are steep! The additional costs to use a la carte restaurants are high, and the offering only average. Water sports centre overpriced.
