Aquila Elounda Village

The Captain Konstantino at the Mirabello restaurant was amazing, he gave a good wine recommendation after I explained to him how I like my wines. I even had a little wine tasting before choosing my wine, then he recommended having Sea-bass with Linguine Pasta and the amazing Bisque!!! I have a picture of the food below. The food was really amazing. I will definitely be coming back. The restaurant is located where you have a beautiful sea view too.

I have stayed in some wonderful hotels over the years, but the reason I am writing this review is not because of the beautiful location, the facilities, or even the excellent food. I am writing it because of the people. As a solo traveller, the service I received at Aquila Elounda Village Resort genuinely made my holiday special. The staff didn't just do their jobs well – they took the time to speak with me, make me feel welcome, and create a warm and friendly atmosphere that meant so much when travelling alone. A special thank you to Anna, Charis, Rezarta and Asmina from the restaurant team. Their kindness, professionalism and impeccable service never went unnoticed. Every interaction was warm and genuine, and they consistently went above and beyond to make my dining experience enjoyable. I would also like to recognise Angelos, Alkis and Petros from the reception team. They were always friendly, approachable and happy to answer my many questions. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made me feel incredibly welcome throughout my stay. Saying goodbye to them at the end of my holiday was genuinely difficult. Another thank you goes to Jimmy and Arsen, who worked tirelessly serving drinks on the beach. Despite working extremely hard in the heat, they always delivered service with a smile and ensured drinks arrived promptly. The food at the resort was fantastic and is certainly one of the reasons I would recommend this hotel. However, the number one reason this is a 5-star experience for me is the service. The people mentioned above are a credit to Aquila Elounda Village Resort and are the reason I would return without hesitation. Thank you all for making my stay such a memorable one. I hope this review reaches you because you truly deserve the recognition and appreciation. You turned a great holiday into an unforgettable one. The staff members I have mentioned deserve to be recognised for the exceptional service they provide. They are a huge asset to the resort and played a significant role in making my holiday so special. Great place and very friendly. We came here last year and it was just as good this year. A lovely spa experience with Sofia. Waterskiing with Yiannis and a snorkelling boat trip through the diving centre. Fantastic food and service especially at the Mirabella restaurant.

My husband and I recently had a wonderful, relaxing, luxurious holiday at Elounda Village. The absolute highlights for us were the many amazing meals we enjoyed at the Mirabello Restaurant. The sea views from this fabulous restaurant are to die for and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. What makes this restaurant exceptional though is Captain and his wonderful team. They can’t do enough for you and they want you to have the most special time. Captain puts his heart and soul into the restaurant and into nurturing his staff and it creates the loveliest atmosphere. A huge thank you to Captain, Nikos and Nikos, Marianna and Elli (and the other wonderful young staff who looked after us) for memories that will last us a lifetime.
