Caramel - A Grecotel Resort to Live

What an amazing stay we had! This was our second visit, and it was just as stunning as we remembered. From the moment we arrived, we received such a lovely welcome. The room was super clean and elegant, and every member of staff was genuinely warm and friendly. Whether at reception, in the restaurants, or at the bar, the service was exceptional throughout our stay. Our children loved every minute, and the team were absolutely fantastic with them, especially everyone at Grecoland. The food was incredible, with an amazing variety of high quality dishes to suit every taste. The gym was also excellent and had everything we needed. Starting the morning with a workout followed by an early stroll along the beach was pure perfection. A huge thank you to every member of staff for making our holiday so memorable, relaxing, and truly perfect. Thank you again, we’ll definitely be back! ❤️

From the first greeting till we left the service was great everyone from reception to bar to beach bar to restaurant staff where all fantastic , lads at beach bar where friendly funny and had time to give you information and history of the island. The room we had was on lawn facing the beach was spotlessly clean . Gardens pool area spotless , lovely hotel , food was really good . We both loved it and would visit again , i would just say book early or late summer as told lots of children there in summer , there was a few there who's parents didn't really seem to care about how much noise they made and where they made it . Beach was the only slight draw back , difficult to walk far on as fine shingle and pebble all along but not hotels fault . over all wonderful hotel wonderful staff , i hope the owners appreciate them all, hard to find staff as good as they were thank you too them all

It was truly delightful. The thing that made is so very special is the friendly, attentive, efficient and caring staff. To be honest I could probably have used another 20 positive adjectives to describe the team at this hotel. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and very welcoming. Seeing only white buildings against an azure blue sky in the morning really lifts your heart and mood. The architecture and positioning of rooms means that you always feel you are in your own private world. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. Add in that it is 15 mins by cab from the beautiful old town of Rethymno which is full of wonderful restaurants from casual eating to fine dining. And really you feel the whole experience is just perfect. 🩷

WOW. What a great experience myself and my wife had here. From the moment we entered the hotel, the welcome , Friendliness and fabulous treatment we got from all members of the hotel was amazing. The rooms are very nice, Bed so comfortable. The food . Breakfast was absolutely amazing, such a variety to choice from in both hot and cold. Dinner in the Al La Carte by the pool was fantastic and the buffet dinner was truly fantastic. The Pool was the best we have ever seen. The service and the attention to detail was put of thus world. We were made feel.so important. Small things like been given bottles of water when you sat by the pool or in the sun lounges by the sea.. I cant speak highly enough about the hotel and friendly staff. We had a fabulous experience. We would highly recommend this hotel and we will be back again Thank you to all the staff. G&C 909

We spent 2 weeks in the Caramel Suite in June. The room was beautiful and had large terrace. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel and the grounds. All the staff were very professional, kind, helpful and polite: One was made to feel very welcome and special. We ate in all the restaurants on site: all different, different levels and were perfect. A sports program was included run by Carina. I only took part in the water gymnastics and the Pilates under palm trees. The water gymnastics was good fun, not as easy as it looks and was always different. Everyone was made welcome despite different abilities. The Pilates was also different every time and she took care to give advice and to correct any mistakes. It was fun and very good. The hotel guests were mainly families with young children and babies or more mature couples. All in all, I would strongly recommend this hotel.
