An honest review… The hotel aesthetic is stunning, a social influencers dream. Other than that it is not 5 star. I would say a 3 1/2 in my opinion… There is no where near enough sun loungers in the pool area. Which is also where you’re expected to lay at night when there is a dj on for 2 hours twice a week other than that there is no entertainment other than cinema nights, which was the holiday we were after but others there did seem disappointed. The ques for the bar do get very long at night with limited seating when all restaurants open. There needs to be opening hours on the shop. The staff especially Antonia & the 2 food managers especially the gent of Ampitheatre were absolutely lovely the problems I had being gluten free lay with hotel advertising saying it could cater for me. It really can not cater for allergies! It advertised on the the menus 2 gluten free options when arriving they clearly contained gluten ingredients (crispy onions on a salad) For someone without an allergy the food is basic in the buffet and the restaurants are 4 star. I was ment to be all inclusive and I barely ate and when I did it made me poorly but again this was only because of my allergies. The private beach is lovely steep walk back but it didn’t bother us to much. The room was lovely and clean everyday. Overall there are alot better 4/5 star hotels in crete.

I escaped here for 4 nights with my friend. We just needed some peace and tranquillity in a quality hotel and that’s exactly what we got. We paid a great price too. The welcome was wonderful, all the staff are so lovely. We were upgraded to a sea view suite which was lovely surprise. It even had a bathtub on the balcony. The food was great and we were able to dive in each of the à la carte options during our stay. Drinks were great quality and the whole atmosphere was one of relaxation. It’s adults only so the peace was welcomed. I have a 9 year old and would consider bringing her and my husband to their other hotel next door as Elounda is so beautiful. Few things that are not negatives but just observations and a few bits that I would have expected from a five star: not nearly enough beds at the pool or beach as both areas too small for the amount of rooms really. Not enough parasols. No table service for drinks which didn’t bother us but for a 5 star I would have expected this. Rooms are really modern and comfy and we were kindly given a courtesy room after checkout as we had a late flight. The steep hill to the rooms is utterly mental, and I’m a physio! I’ve no idea why this isn’t stepped. There is the option of them ferrying you around in a golf buggy that looks like it’s about to topple over but thankfully doesn’t. It’s very clear from the hotel description that the hotel is built into a hill but it’s bonkers just how steep it actually is so be prepared for burning calf muscles. I just needed to get my head down and escape for a few days and this helped me recharge perfectly. Both my friend and I agreed we’d had a super relaxing time. Thank you.

Poor service, zero management and a general can’t do attitude all over the site. Miss sold room layouts, unbookable restaurants and a queue at the bar that would rival a Wetherspoons. Coming down for breakfast in the morning don’t be surprised if the “not my job” reception staff haven’t bothered to clear dirty glasses off tables from the night before (pictures attached). We booked a room with a separate lounge, travelling with an additional adult family member we wanted some privacy, we were told whilst there might not be a door there would be privacy. Please see attached photos clearly showing not only a clear line of sight bed to bed but also a mirror carefully positioned to help us watch each other sleep. 2 requests to speak to management about issues with the pool as well as not being able to book restaurant’s amongst other things went unanswered. Even sent an email which I’ve now given them 7days to reply too but still nothing. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE IT LOOKS GREAT BUT YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.

Wonderful service throughout our stay. The housekeeping team does an excellent job, and any small issues that arose were always resolved quickly and efficiently with the help of the staff. Everyone on the team is consistently friendly, smiling, and willing to assist with anything needed. The views from the Cool Living Area are absolutely breathtaking and made our experience even more special. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and positive attitude made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to the entire team for such a fantastic experience!
