Domes Aulus Elounda, Curio Collection by Hilton

We are still enjoying our stay at Domes Aulus Elounda, with two wonderful days left, but I simply couldn’t wait until the end of our vacation to recognize two truly exceptional team members. A heartfelt thank you to Dana, Concierge, and Maria-Eleni, Guest Relations, for making our stay so special. From the very beginning, they have greeted us with genuine warmth, kindness, and constant smiles that brighten every interaction. Their willingness to help has been nothing short of extraordinary. They go far beyond what anyone could expect—always taking the time to answer questions, find the best deals, offer thoughtful recommendations, and make sure every detail of our stay is perfect. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and they always make us feel like we are their top priority. What makes them truly remarkable is not only their professionalism but also their genuine care for every guest. Their friendly personalities, graciousness, patience, and positive attitudes have made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. Dana and Maria-Eleni are shining examples of outstanding hospitality and are tremendous assets to Domes Aulus Elounda. We are so grateful for everything they have done for us so far, and with two days still to enjoy, we already know this has been an unforgettable experience because of them. Really relaxed atmosphere. Limited entertainment but if you want pure relaxation it could be for you.Food is good with 3 chances to dine a la carte when staying for 7 nights. There are some options for those with food allergies/ intolerance. The restaurant manager was also very helpful. Stunning panoramic views out to the Aegean sea. The cool livings area is particularly impressive if you can afford the upgrade. Staff are generally very friendly and helpful. The general manager was also very approachable and particularly helpful when we encountered a small issue. The hotel is on a steep hill and would probably be unsuitable for those with severe mobility issues. However, there are golf buggies driven by a really good crew who are always happy to give you a lift up and down dale as and when required. The rooms are clean, tidy and modern with a huge bed. Ours also had a view out to sea and spinigola island in the distance. Overall really enjoyed our stay and hope to return for a third visit in the future.

The positives excellent staff and lovely pool, restaurant and bar area in the cool living section. The negatives private room pool was filthy with litter in for first three days of holiday which was cleaned but soon silted up again. Several worm insects in room that we had to remove from the shower area and room every morning. Hotel apologised but worm problem not sorted out. Didn’t use pool as worried about an infections. TUI apologised as well and said they would only give an apology with no return of the money we paid to up grade to the Zen Suite. Hotel and TUI need to sort these issues out. Very surprised the room pool was so dirty for a Hilton Hotel and also that TUI thought that it was acceptable just to apologise and not refund the cost of the room upgrade.

It was the fourth time that we visited you. Your hospitality was exceptional once again. You fully met our expectations. You create memories for us that remain in our minds and hearts.

Our stay at Domes Aulūs Elounda was truly wonderful. The location offers breathtaking views, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff made us feel welcome from the very first moment. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made our holiday even more enjoyable. We left with beautiful memories and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation.
