The experience was unbelievable! From our check in with Guiseppe who was incredible,to the dinner at the sky bar! An amazing experience with world class staff. Definitely worth a visit!

Stayed for ten days. Feel when we booked we were misled, we had children with us so the entertainment schedule was part of the reason we decided on booking here however the entertainment was very poor and very limited although you can see the entertainment team do try but they need more energy or passion around what they are doing. Staff can be very strict and miserable however I suspect this comes from rules they are made to follow. Anna on the evening pool bar is a wonderful person and always has a smile (we love you Anna!) The all inclusive food was nice enough but limited options for a member of our party who has a gluten intolerance and they restaurant manager was not helpful and at times rude and would shout and point at food. In the main restaurant the staff work very hard however there was no system for guests therefore most meals felt chaotic, school dinner halls are more organised. We found the snack bar was very strict, no food could be taken to the other pool unless ice cream which for our children was not ideal as they did not want to leave the pool and dry off to go for a snack. We took the kids to the snack bar at 4.30 on our last day before our transfer came and there was no food, the staff then shouted at us as they were due to close in half an hour which felt very uncalled for as the snack bar is advertised to be open until 5pm. All inclusive drinks were drinkable and we got used to the soft drinks used however alot of the time whatever juice you had tasted like soda water...again not great for kids! The all inclusive did not feel all inclusive once the all inclusive stopped at 11pm you need to pay for everything including cups of water. Pools were beautiful, rooms were clean but dated. We took some trips out every other day to break up our time and to give the kids something to do due to lack of entertainment. For what we paid we were disappointed however made the most of a lovely ten days in the sunshine. With some improvements the hotel could be wonderful.

We stayed at Mediterraneo Hotel as a family of 11 and overall had a very enjoyable holiday with excellent value for money. The rooms are a bit dated, but they are comfortable and perfectly adequate for a relaxing stay. One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness of the hotel – everything was spotless throughout our stay. The swimming pools are also a little old and use salt water. They can get quite crowded in the afternoon, but they are still enjoyable. The beaches are within walking distance, although you should expect a short walk to get there. The service at both the bar and the restaurant was excellent. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. A special mention goes to Eva, who was exceptional throughout our stay. She always greeted us with a smile, anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble for her. As she proudly says herself, “I love my job,” and it truly shows in everything she does. She made our holiday even more enjoyable. The biggest disappointment was the entertainment team. Although we understand this is a budget-friendly hotel, the animation programme rarely followed the published schedule. Activities were often cancelled if fewer than two people showed up, and in the evenings there was little or no entertainment. This was by far the biggest negative point of our stay. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean hotel with great staff and excellent value for money, Mediterraneo Hotel is a good choice. However, the entertainment definitely needs significant improvement.

2 regular pools, 2 baby pools, were all good, food was very nice with different variety each day for dinner, snack bar with same food every day near the pool, strict and unpleasant staff members who are very bossy, staff aren't allowed to put on air-conditioning in and around the hotel lobby and bar. Gym is very small and can only if maximum 5-6 people in it and also has a punching bag. If you punch the bag staff at the spa next door tell you off. Not smart putting these rooms near one another. If you struggle with hills, do not get a hotel near to the top of the accommodation, get it nearer to the lobby as many paths are very steep and doesnt go well with hot weather. Beach is very near to hotel, 5-10 minute walk at most. Hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from the Harbour (town centre) Air conditioning in the hotel rooms are very loud and you can only keep them on while you if you get a spare key and keep one in the hotel. I would advise doing so otherwise heat at night will be unbearable. Cleaners come every day and do a good job, everything gets cleaned. Showers are okay, Beds are uncomfortable and take some getting used to. Apart from that, hotel rooms are standard and basic. Not bad experience but could have been alot better.
