+beautiful views +close to 2 beaches +varied food +good housekeeping everyday + quite regular shuttle service to the city (4 euros per person ) -poor entertainment , mainly just low budget mini disco for kids in French, not even English . Only one proper performance throughout our one week stay there -poor management of the kids club. No daily programme plus a lack of communication between the reception and the kids club supervisors . Only drawing for the kids which was quite boring for them , disappointing compared to other hotels where there are crafts and different activities everyday . One of the days we were not told that the kids club finished 30 minutes earlier and our kids were left alone. -the main pool was always super crowded with very little space to swim, plus when there are ball games half of the pool is blocked - the lifts are really slow and small -drinks at the bar are bad

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic – without a doubt the best hotel we have stayed at during the past three years on Crete. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was of outstanding quality, the views were breathtaking, and the service exceeded all our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. As a lovely final touch, we even received a thoughtful gift at check-out, which made an already amazing experience even more special. We are already looking forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect holiday in Crete.

Wonderful Seaside Experience We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beachfront hotel. The location is stunning, with breathtaking sea views and direct access to a beautiful sea. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax after a day by the sea. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, and the restaurant served excellent local and international dishes. A special thank you goes to the reception team for their outstanding hospitality. Despite our very late-night arrival, we received a warm and professional welcome, which made us feel immediately at ease. We also greatly appreciated the flexibility and options offered for our check-out, a thoughtful gesture that made our departure much more comfortable and stress-free. What made our stay truly special was the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout the hotel. Everything was designed to ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable. One suggestion for further improvement would be the creation of a dedicated relaxation area near the beach Tsimento, offering guests the opportunity to relax and appreciate the beautiful seaside setting in a more peaceful and tranquil environment. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing seaside getaway and will definitely return on our next vacation.

We’ve stayed at this hotel from 6th-13th of July, we enjoyed our stay here very much! The location is splendid, the atmosphere is great, quiet evenings. We were 6 people, room 803, 807, 806; unfortunately in the rooms 807-806 was smelling very bad, from the sewer pipes ( this was the only downside). Rooms were cleaned everyday by kind ladies (give them a small tip also), the showers were fine, the water pressure was good. The service at the hotel was splendid, from food to bars to reception 10/10 the people are truly amazing and professional. The atmosphere at this hotel was unbelievable, you will really enjoy it if you go there. The pools are salty, the one near the restaurant is not very salty, but near the Tsimento beach is extremely salty, the lounges there are enough but people like to leave their thing there to not love their sun-beds (that’s a downside also). The value of money is equal to what you pay for. The drinks at the bar are great, local alcohol which is not that bad, the food is spectacular. Btw you will be amazed by this hotel’s garden and how well maintained it is. My overall opinion is very very good, my family and I enjoyed our stay here. Don’t be scared to book it, you will not regret it!

Peninsula Resort & Spa was absolutely amazing! We celebrated our 20th anniversary there, and the staff made it truly unforgettable. A huge thank you to Sofia, Effie, Fotini, Aman, and Claudia at the front desk. They went above and beyond by decorating our room, helping us book our à la carte anniversary dinner, and always being so kind and helpful throughout our stay. My wife, Gina, has a gluten allergy, and Chef Stelvio was outstanding. He made sure she always had safe gluten-free options at the buffet and even caught one item she had accidentally chosen that contained gluten. We really appreciated his care and attention. The rooms were clean, the sea was just steps away, and every staff member we met was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our vacation special. We highly recommend Peninsula Resort & Spa and can't wait to return!
