Tarra Hotel

From the moment we arrived we was welcomed with open arms by the lovely Jenny. Hotel is spotlessly clean and we were upgraded to a swim up room which was absolutely amazing! Could not fault the hotel, beds were extra comfy and bathroom and shower is amazing. House keeping was excellent and visited everyday keeping our room spotlessly clean! Breakfast was perfect and you could choose from various items such as eggs, bacon, beans, toast, cereal, fresh fruit and tea and coffee. Pool very peaceful with amazing sun loungers, again this area was spotlessly clean. Location of the hotel is fantastic and close to everything including a small supermarket next door. Beach is only a few minutes walk. We would definitely return and could not ask for a better holiday

Just back from a fantastic holiday based in the Tarra Hotel. From the moment we were met at the door by Jenny to the fond farewells at the end we were given 5 star treatment. The rooms were spacious and clean, the pool area was quiet and relaxing and the wonderful staff were always on hand to make sure we had everything we needed. We were half-board but had intended on eating out a few evenings, however the food was so good that we ate in every night. The wonderfully authentic Greek dishes were prepared to a very high standard and were so, so tasty! They were also happy to take requests for future evening meals. We had a marvelous time and I would like to thank Jenny and all her wonderful staff for making it so.

My girlfriend and I stayed here just over a year ago and it was absolutely exceptional in every way. A huge and special Thankyou to Jenny, who genuinely treated us like a member of her family from the minute we got there to the minute we left. A year down the line and I still think about the level of service , and as someone who has stayed in so many great hotels, nothing has even come close. To have the owner of the hotel be that close to the guests is not only refreshing, but a true reflection of the love she has for her job. The hotel itself is stunning and in my opinion the best in the area if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing break. If you are ever staying in the area this hotel is an absolute must. The fact that this hotel doesn’t have an official 5* rating boarders on offensive, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the towels are changed as often as you need. Will definitely be back

This was a great find! Small modern hotel, spotlessly clean and great value. We loved: good size room, everything clean and shiny, decent bathroom. Great breakfast with fruit & yogurt every day and hot items cooked fresh to order. Recommend omelettes! Jenny is a very welcoming hostess. Very close to beach and town square. We less liked: It can be noisy, from the street below, and the ‘evening entertainment’ from next door Corissa Park Hotel is very intrusive even with the windows shut- not a problem if you’re out late but not the right choice if you like peaceful early nights. Shower took a LONG time to get hot- start it well before you want to use it. Pillows were a bit firm and plump for us but that’s just a personal preference. Everything else was great.

Tarra has recently had a huge makeover with all rooms being updated but is still run by the same lovely family. Enjoy spacious comfort, air con, room safe and bathrooms with walk in showers. From a greeting at reception, friendly wait and housekeeping staff, you can start your holiday straight away. Choice of breakfast dishes, cereal, cold cuts, fresh fruit, unlimited coffee or bottled water taken in the breakfast room or on the deck overlooking the pool. Plenty of poolside beds to catch some rays and take a cooling dip, laze away your days or use Tarra as a base to explore this beautiful island. You will want to return the next year. Ten out of ten.
