Coming back next year to this gem of Ierapetra. The greek night was something special. Dancing, singing and having a wonderful time! The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food was really tasty and delicious. Relaxing by the pool with a cocktail. But the best was the friendly and professional staff. Of course the beach that's just opposite the hotel stole my heart. Many thanks and we will see you next year.

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!! I really couldn't ask for a better vacation! I stayed at Tylissos for a week and the only thing I have to say is EXCELLENT! The rooms were fully renovated and super clean. The buffet and generally the food was on another level and the location was magical just 10 steps from the beach! The staff was super friendly and professional and the atmosphere was perfect. It had everything I could ask for and it was definitely a value for money! Coming back next year!

"Care home" vibe with poor All-Inclusive – avoid if you're looking for a real resort Location & Logistics: The location is quite poor. It’s very far from the airport – a private transfer takes about 2 hours. There is absolutely nothing in the immediate vicinity. The town of Ierapetra is a 15-minute walk away, and you can see everything there in an hour. Staying here for 9 days without a car is impossible. Pro tip: Rent a car directly at the airport; local prices are around €60/day. Check-in & Service: Upon arrival, we were hit with a €90 tourist tax. Our first room had a broken toilet flush—after a 4-hour failed repair attempt, we were finally moved to a different room. On a positive note, the reception and restaurant staff are very friendly and polite, which we truly appreciated. The "All Inclusive" Joke: The food is extremely monotonous with a very small selection. There were almost no fruits or desserts beyond the absolute basics. A big plus for the fresh-squeezed orange juice, though. However, the drinks are a disappointment. No cocktails are included in the AI option. You only get beer, red/white wine (no rose), raki, ouzo, and local rum. Any cocktail costs at least €9. A beer at the pool is €4.50, and the beach bar was practically closed. Big plus for Starvos ,Maria and couple from restaurant...they was natural smiles to everyone. Facilities & Atmosphere: The beach is atmospheric, but the sand is black and full of rocks—swimming shoes are a must. The average age of guests is 50+, so it feels more like a sanatorium than a holiday resort. The animation is a joke—the animator showed zero engagement. Check-out Policy: Check-out is at 11:00 AM, and they remove your AI wristbands immediately. Even though we arrived at 10:00 PM on our first day, we had to pay for everything on our last day while waiting for a late flight, which is unacceptable. Summary: If you like a "care home" atmosphere, you might find yourself at home here. Unfortunately, we relied on reviews that did not reflect the reality of the place. We do not recommend it for those expecting a standard All-Inclusive experience. Definitely not recommend for people under 40's
