Sovereign Beach

Wow what an amazing time we had at this beautiful hotel. From check in to check out we had the best experiences..Everything was catered for and the staff were beyond fabulous. Food was amazing from the dining area to the pool bar to the taverna. Staff were so friendly and every one was happy and helpful. The hotel was full of great characters and the entertainment staff were great. Esp Enzo who filled the place with laughter and fun. I really can’t praise this hotel enough… I will definitely be back. The walk into town is about 15 mins and lovely as it’s along the sea front. The taxi back was about 10 euros. Taxi from hotel to Kos town takes about 45 mins and is 40 euro each way but definitely worth a visit. The hotels private beach is also beautiful. Only downside was the aircon wasn’t the best in the room but I had bought my own fan so wasn’t an issue. I would recommend this hotel 150+% Thank you for about stay.

Recently returned from a very relaxing 10 days in this lovely hotel. From start to finish, we were treated like family…nothing was too much trouble. We arrived late, and there were rolls and drinks in the restaurant area for us. Most welcome after sitting on the plane for 2 hours before we even took off! Room was spacious and cleaned daily. Food was very good, if sometimes warm, rather than hot. Ample choice for all tastes. Some reviews said the pool was cold, but we found it perfect, and never had a problem finding a sun bed. The animation team were great, both with children and older people - I was there with my daughter, 39 and 68 - they always found time for a chat and a joke. It took about 20 minutes to stroll into Kardamena. A lovely walk in the morning when it is cooler. A couple of bars to get drinks on the way back! My only tiny gripe is that the WI-FI was almost non existent in the hotel, but available around the pool, but that really didn’t bother us at all! We certainly had a great holiday and will be booking to return next year. See you then!

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. We had a bungalow with a shared pool and the room was good. The grounds were kept immaculate. The staff were brilliant from Sarah, who cleaned our room to the serving staff in the restaurant. However, the food was cold and not a great selection. There was no speciality dining and some dishes were either overcooked or not cooked enough. The site facilities are looking their age and a 3 star is a more Appropriate for this hotel.

Just back from this lovely hotel. All staff were great,so nice and friendly. The food was good, superb choice including vegetarian and vegan, gluten free etc. Speak to the chef and restaurant manager if you have any dietary needs as they are very accomodating. There is fresh pizza and pasta made daily, as well as salads, fresh fruit and lots of cake and also ice cream. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great shower in our bathroom. The hotel was very clean in all areas and the grounds kept beautifully. Entertainment team were very enthuiastic and entertaining. No problem getting a sun bed round the pool. Easy 20 min walk into Kardamena but the hotel provides a shuttle bus twice a day if you don't want to walk. A very pleasant stay close to beach and countryside. The staff really are to be commended as everyone is so pleasant and lovely in all areas and made our stay special.

What a fabulous holiday and hotel. It was our 1st time of going to Kos and it won't be our last. The hotel is just out of the centre, but there is a free bus in the morning at 9.30, which takes you knto the town, then brings you back about 12.15. Then again early evening which returns at 11.00pm. It's only 7 euros in a taxi. We didn't do any sightseeing just stayed by the hotel, and chilled out, apart from the first Wednesday, then on our last night. The hotel staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble.The rooms are cleaned daily and change the towels. Food is excellent, loads of choices on the menu especially for gluten/vegetarian diets are well catered for. I thoroughly enjoyed the ice-creams loads of different flavours!! The entertainment team are really good, especially with the children's i.e mini games and disco. Plus there's water aerobics, water polo, darts etc. Greek night, karaoke and a Motown night which were good. Plenty of sunbeds so you don't have to go down early, my only gripe with them is they are not comfortable and very low down, so if you're like me I struggled to get up, i needed a hoist! Honestly it was a 1st class holiday and our first time we flew with Easyjet- brilliant. We didn't want to come home.😢😢. See you next year!!!
