Tropical Sol

Tropical Sol is a lovely hotel It is in a brilliant location. Near the beach shops and bars. It is spotlessly clean and towels and linen changed regularly. Vasilika who is on reception is a lovely lady and can't do enough for you. Has a lovely pool and the pool bar is run by Terry and Yanni who are 2 lovely men and they make you feel welcome.. The food is very good too. Overall it is a lovely place

I have been to this hotel for 5 years now. The staff are amazing, but the last couple of years the breakfast has gone downhill, if you want to eat egg every single day then the breakfast is perfect for you. But when you ask for bacon, the kitchen staff (Steve) refused to do it. we was there for two weeks and we only got it on the 2nd to last day because someone else done it. We have booked again because the hotel is in a perfect location and it’s very clean. So it hasn’t put me off.

Just had 2 weeks there,everything within walking distance,nice and quiet hotel,and spotlessly clean,large pool,buffet breakfast,everyone catered for,eggs,bacon etc,fresh fruits croissants etc,pool bar serves food during the day,very reasonable,and large portions,a super chilled holiday,and Tigaki is great

Had a great 2 week holiday at the Tropical Sol. The hotel is ideally placed for everything. The rooms are clean so is the pool and shared areas. Staff are friendly and the jacuzzi is lovely. There is also a good breakfast selection. Going to book again for next year.

The hotel looks a little dated maybe compared to some newer ones and the rooms a little small however for value for money I would rate it five stars, all the staff were amazing, the hotel was spotless clean all over, the rooms cleaned ever day with new towels every three and complimentary toiletries. Every bed room has air con and a balcony, we had a nice view of the gardens. The breakfast included is good for choices hot and cold and you could have as much as you liked, the pool bar was great serviced nice snacks and the evening bar good. The location in the resort is perfect not noisy but on the main strip with lots bars and restaurants and shops and a 5 min walk to the beach. The pool was nice there was always sun beds no one was saving them people came and went so you could always get a sun bed, the hotel also had it own section of Beach where you could hire lovely sun beds and order drinks and food from the hotel to the lounger Nico who managed that and the evening was really helpful. Tigaki itself is small resort but with enough bars and restaurants for a week most places great food and cocktails and good value for money and the teens made use of the one nightclub Memories a little like an 80s one back in the day. It is also near Kos town accessible on the bus. We were two families with older teens and found Tigaki great for the week but. I think it wouldn’t be for young people on their own but we would go back to the resort and the hotel and really enjoyed our stay there. Most places are still family owned and run like the hotel and it was very charming.
