So. We had a week right at the end of season, I mean literally we were the last guests to leave the hotel. Had we known this would be the case we would have most likely tried to leave before the very last day. Nonetheless the hotel was beautiful the grounds beautiful. Speaking from an end of season perspective, a lot was closed. Entertainment was bare minimum but what was provided was good. The entertainment staff are just fantastic. Especially Thabo, Anya, Anna and Noemie. Joel on the bar was excellent very kind seeing as we felt very uncomfortable being the last guests he assure us we were welcome. Joel in the restaurant was just the most lovely person. Nothing too much trouble always smiling and kind and patient. An asset to the staff. And Theodora on the cleaning staff was just lovely. 🫶 The room was beautiful even had a Dyson air wrap. Spotless and spacious. The beach was lovely. We ate at 2 of the restaurants included in our package. The fork house and the Greek taverna. Elia was shut sadly. The onsite shop closed befure our stay ended too sadly and with local shops all shut water was an issue as we couldn’t buy any and besides one bottle left in room we were stuck. The all inclusive snacks were disappointing. Especially as they got moved to main restaurant towards the end of our stay and we felt very uncomfortable going into main restaurant outside of hours. We didn’t get a meal before leaving sadly as staff party was on. We felt extremely out of place watching staff arrive assuming hotel was empty. We were after a long conversation allowed to stay in our room later than checkout time seeing as that was 11 and we didn’t leave till 8.25 pm that was a blessing as it would have been rather bleak to sit around and feel out of place all day. Pools were plentiful but freezing, I imagine in peak season it would be refreshing but not at end of season. All in all we had a good time but honestly would not return. Definitely not out of season. I didn’t get the friendly staff vibe as mentioned by others apart from the names above we almost felt like a nuisance. This hotel for me, was mainly aimed at German market and nothing wrong with that. But not for us I’m sad to say. And Marmari itself was a bleak dirty place. Not the hotels fault. We paid a heck of a lot of money and don’t feel we got the full experience. Despite the closing of the resort more effort set should be placed on remaining guests.
Amazing stay and perfect vacation experience ! We loved the facilities, the food and the entertainment events. The rooms were clean and spacious and the personnel very polite. One of the best vacations ever!
Lovely hotel, very attentive staff, quiet location, good pools, nice beach, great food.
Everything is perfect this hotel is very big and it has everything! We have the best holiday! Thank you for all. See you the next year!
Our recent stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the check-in desk was not welcoming much. There were few smiles, and no upgrade was available; the motto seems to be “you get what you pay for.” Be aware that the restaurant menus displayed at the computer near front desk do not reflect what the kitchen actually prepares. We tried to dine at a so-called "vegan-friendly" restaurant, only to be told they didn’t prepare any vegan options at all. So our diner plans were ruined. On the positive side, several staff members went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Special thanks to the big, tall chef at the buffet and a friendly lady at the fresh juice shop, their personal service and attention to our needs were truly remarkable. Overall, while some staff were outstanding, the general lack of hospitality and menu inconsistencies made this stay less than ideal.
