Atlantica Imperial Resort

This is the most wonderful hotel and our second time visiting and the sixth time visiting an Atlantica resort. The staff here are all fabulous, so friendly and helpful. The rooms are gorgeous, modern and always clean. The cleaners do a wonderful job and never seem to stop at all hours of the day. The views are perfect, looking out over the sea. The restaurant staff are amazing, always with a welcoming happy face, the food is great, a franchise and different themed nights. Every night has different entertainment if you choose to watch. My trip wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the spa, I can’t recommend it enough. I have had four treatments over the last two visits here and Dafni has been my therapist, what can I say other than she is the most talented masseuse, she is the ultimate professional. Today I have had the anti aging facial and a back neck and shoulder massage and it was the best spa treatment I have ever had! And that’s from someone who has been in the beauty industry for 20 years. She is an absolute gem and has a wonderful calm, gentle personality. I would definitely recommend a visit to the spa, the team are wonderful. Thankyou for making our holiday wonderful once again.

The hotel itself is beautiful and is perfect for anyone who worships the sun! If you like the shade then there isn’t much of this at the hotel. The only shade near the pool is in a grassy area where there are trees for coverage. However these sun beds do not have any kind of padding such as the ones near to the pool and are not the same quality as the beds near the pool. The ones near the pool are big heavy wooden sun beds with a thick padded topper which looks comfortable. Although there are parasols round the pool near to sun loungers, they are fixed and cannot be moved so again offer very little shade throughout the whole day. There is supposed to be some kind of policy about reserving sun beds from 9am onwards but this is not adhered to. We came out one day about 11am and couldn’t get a sun lounger anywhere unfortunately. I would consider upgrading the room to one which has a terrace or swim up so you have your own sun beds if this is a consideration. Most days we were out earlier and always got a bed in the grass/tree area where it was more quiet. There is a massive selection of food at breakfast and evening meal and definitely something for everyone. If you eat a lot and drink a lot I would say all inclusive would be worth it for you but we are half board and it wouldn’t be beneficial for us. There are a few shops just down the road from the hotel which sells soft drinks etc far cheaper than the hotel prices. The rooms have a fridge so it is worth getting some and keeping them in your room. A large bottle of water is delivered to the room each day and there are water stations to refill any water bottles which is amazing. We didn’t realise this initially and had bought a dozen bottles of water at the local supermarket. The staff are all really friendly and a lot of them speak very good English and the service is excellent. Evening entertainment sounds ok overall but I agree with another comment I have seen saying it is geared towards an older generation. We never went to watch any of the entertainment but could hear it quite loudly in our room. The entertainment seems to go on until about 11pm every day (slightly earlier on a Sunday). The duplex room with limited sea view is not worth the extra expense. The only time you can see much sea is if you are in the upstairs bedroom and have the blinds and shutters open (you can see it over the top of the rooms in front of the duplex rooms). To me, it’s not worth paying for the limited sea view as it’s not something to sit and look at really. However, the duplex room itself is very spacious with 2 floors and 2 bathrooms! Overall the hotel, staff and experience has been really good.

We stayed here for ten days half board. Hotel is spotless, staff are amazing - especially the restaurant staff, so welcoming. Pool is pleasantly warm and big. Lots of padded beds but you need to be down around 7am to get your preferred location. Beach just a short stroll down the path and amazing water. The pool music was a bit loud at times and can interupt a sleep LOL. Lovely scenic restaurant just up from the beach. Food was great, cocktails and drinks expensive and small (mostly ice) but again, staff at the pool bar are lovely. Entertainment was great and El Divo guys magnificent... best night. Beds very comfy and room cleaned every day. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel available. The mat in the room was very uncomfortable on bare feet. They have fly screens on the balcony doors - clever! Spa is good and Daphne gave me the most incredible facial.... she was fantastic. Spa is quite expensive though... we went for a couple massage but was just ok. Local area has supermarket, restaurants and shops. Local bus stop across the road. All in all, would definitely return.

We have literally just returned from the most fantastic week at this hotel. Room 149. We’ve never experienced a 5* hotel and honestly we were blown away. The staff were all fantastic - really attentive, the food and range on offer was outstanding and the facilities left us not wanting to leave the hotel. The entertainment was different each night to suit different tastes. Our room was very well positioned facing the sea with about 30 steps from room to beach. It’s a sandy/shingle beach but absolutely picturesque with a beach bar and snacks as part of the AI offer. I used the spa too and that was fantastic. We did a couple of trips, 1 to Rhodes town via TUI coach transfer only 20 euros and we loved seeing all the shop’s restaurants and culture on offer. The other trip was to Lindos by boat. Picked up from the hotel and driven just a few minutes to the harbour where the boat trip was run by a local family. Lindos is stunning. A real authentic taste of Rhodes/Greece and then a 2 bay swimming stop so it was an all day trip so value for money. Absolutely couldn’t recommend this hotel and trips enough. Will definitely be retuning
