Esperos Blue Village

Location: On a hillside meaning a lot of uphill walking to the Main Block although if really desperate internal taxi service is available. Atmosphere: Wonderful feeling of comfort and cleanliness. Room: Could not fault it in any way whatsoever, clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. Cleaned and everything replenished each day. Noise level: No problem at all (except for the Peafowl :-) ) Amenities: Three main swimming Pools, Gym, Entertainment, on-site shop. Service: To me this was probably the best quality the hotel possessed. The staff in all departments were of the highest order. Nothing was too much trouble and always done with genuine smiles. The food offered was fabulous with so many selections it was such a pleasurable difficulty to choose what to have. The cost of the holiday we booked through EasyJet was extremely good value and I would have no hesitation of recommending it to anyone and if we decide on another holiday in Rhodes, this is where we will stay without a shadow of doubt.

From the minute we stepped out of the taxi we were greeted and our bags taken to reception. Met the lovely Andrea who assisted very promptly our check in whilst we sipped on a glass of fizz. We went straight to the Panorama restaurant where we were welcomed warmly, and even though it was almost dark the views were stunning. Andrea sought us out daily to check that everything was ok, either at the reception or down at the pool, she was lovely and very informative of the local area and the hotel its self. Taken to our room with luggage, WOW big room with everything you needed, including iron, ironing board, dressing gowns and slippers. Stepped out on the balcony and we had a private pool sun beds patio set and a very impressive sea view. The bed and pillows were so soft, they literally hugged you, air con plus fan were great. Shower one of best I've used in Europe. Bedding and towels changed daily even when not requested. Very clean. Food was really nice, lots of choice for everyone, the show cooking meals were fabulous. Got 2 speciality restaurants to choose from only used the one Burger House - best burger ever had (better than USA), the dessert platter was second to no Breakfast omelette's cooked by Milena were delicious, lovely lady, as was the lady who escorted to you to table and checked in on you through out your meal (sorry can't remember her name think it began with V). We only ate in the Panorama restaurant and were able to eat either inside, outside but under cover or on the balcony which was lovely but too hot in a morning and a tad cool on evening as still early season but worth it for the stunning views. There are 3 swimming pools 1 literally behind our room, which was very quiet and then 2 down at the main block a heated infinity pool with jacuzzi and then a cooler pool which was ok once you had been in a few minutes. The sunbeds were so comfortable and thick was like laying on a sofa. No problem obtaining although a lot were reserved early morning and not actually used until later the pool staff tried to police. There was a call ball attached to the parasol for the bar staff, drinks premium and not badly priced. Snack bar for food during the day, had a pizza on the last day by the pool that was delicious. The bar on a night has a nice feel to it, not many seats inside but who wants to sit inside when your on holiday? although it was good fun sitting at the bar watching the cocktails being made though. Waiters were great, they remembered your drinks and room numbers . The outside area had entertainment on every evening from tribute acts to electric violin lady and she was amazing, never thought I would hear guns and roses, ed Sheeran and Adele played on violin was fab. The hotel is set on a hillside so the higher you went the better the view and there was a little chapel right at the top which is beautiful, so because of it being built into the hillside it is steep to walk up either the path or the steps, however there is a shuttle bus which goes down from the top to the beach every day, and also the luggage guys would also stop and offer you a lift and literally deposit at your door step. We ventured to the beach once, just for a look, plenty of sunbeds and couple of bars, we had lunch and a cocktail in one which was really nice. The bus drop us literally on the beach and we had a little walk back to the main entrance of the complex and were picked up by the luggage man who said it was too warm to walk!! We weren't able to keep our room on check out at 11 but were able to leave luggage and continue to use all the hotel facilities until we were ready to use the courtesy room which was massive, with a great big supply of towels, big shower room, with hair dryer and plenty of room to get sorted before leaving. The mini supermarket was great had everything needed, and was open till late every night. Had to buy bottle opener for wine from there ( that would be my only negative, however I am sure if we asked the bar guys would have opened it for us) All in all this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in in Greece, the location was stunning, the ambience of the whole place was peaceful and relaxing, and the staff were the nicest and most helpful I've ever met. Will definitely be returning sooner rather than later.

Fantastic Hotel. Stayed in a Suite and was very spacious. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Staff were excellent and so friendly. Entertainment was repeated weekly and although good would have been nice to see something different on 2nd week. Food outstanding and so much choice.Will definitely return.

A beautiful hotel across the hillside above Faliraki. Staff across the hotel were friendly and attentive, and were extremely helpful when it came to further information about Rhodes or assistance with luggage etc. The shuttle bus service from the top of the hill down to reception, the main gate and the beach is great, and makes getting around the site easy. Definitely head up to the top of the hill to see the view. Stayed in a sea view room which was spotless on arrival, and cleaned as required during our stay. Food in the buffet restaurant was very good with a rotating theme each night, with plenty of choice. Food from the à la carte restaurant was also good. Entertainment in the bar each night was a nice touch, with a couple of acts able to perform out on the terrace as the weather allowed. The buses to Rhodes run from the main road outside the hotel and make it easy to visit the old town.
