Esperos Blue Village

The site is absolutely stunning with discrete white blocks of accomodation dotted into the steep hillside . View over the bay are stunning and at the top of the site there is a magical chapel with a beautiful ceiling. The relaxed ambience is enhanced by: Helpful friendly and very professional staff. Delicious, appetising and imaginatively presented buffet meals. Luxuriously furnished lounge areas. High degree of cleanliness throughout. Two pristine pools with plenty of really comfortable sunbeds. The negative was sadly our room Country Style with private pool (114) It was spacious with a huge comfortable bed and plenty of storage but the white furnishings were chipped, a drawer was broken and other than a chair for the dressing table there was only a very small rickety table and hard chair to relax on. Sound proofing was poor and we were very aware of our neighbours and those above. The bathroom was very small and more surfaces needed to be provided to store personal items . However the shower was large and most efficient. We didn't find a fan so needed to keep the bathroom window open . The private pool and patio were lovely with sunbeds and super comfy chairs . However the advertised private pool was a bit of a misnomer as to was overlooked by two rooms above and another on one side. Get me another room with more comfortable furnishings and we'd be back !

We spent 11 days in a skyline room with its own pool. The room was really good and cleaned daily. We ate in the Panoramic restaurant for all of our stay. The choice and quality of food was excellent. The hotel is spread up the side of a steep hill. The shuttle buses will take you from top to bottom and also to the nearby beach. Regular buses into Falaraki town and Rhodes.

This was my second solo holiday for my 40th Birthday and after a disappointing first solo trip at another destination this trip totally made up for it. I loved everything about it. Accommodation was beautiful, it was very clean and kept on top of daily. Staff were so friendly and attentive. There’s loads to do in the surrounding area whether you want to stay close or go a bit further. With the accommodation being quite high up a hill, they provide bus service that runs every 15 mins and takes you to the beach or other places that are close to the hotel. Throughly enjoyed the food and drinks. The pools and pool area were spacious and lovely. I could go on and on!

The service was outstanding. We checked out at 11.00 and were allowed to use all the facilities till our evening flight and they booked us a free courtesy room to shower and get ready the end of the day. The food was divine. So many varieties of flavor, and spices. The chef made a special effort with my allergies to accommodate me, i.e., fresh chia pudding with almond milk instead of the oat porridge with milk, since I had a milk allergy. All you had to do was ask, and it was done. Everything worked. The views were outstanding, the room comfort and A/C was great. The shuttle was convenient. With those views it requires effort, but totally worth it! The beach wasn't the prettiest, but rent a Vespa and zip down the coast to better ones. The half board option is great and the dinner buffet worth it. We didn't want to eat anywhere else. But the a la carte restaurant and Burger house and poolside food were subpar. Almost like an afterthought. Most overcooked chicken fillet I've ever had. And my husband couldn't even finish his burger, the meat was so off. Evening entertainment was hit or miss. Most of it really cheesy, but The Divos were phenomenol!

Location: On a hillside meaning a lot of uphill walking to the Main Block although if really desperate internal taxi service is available. Atmosphere: Wonderful feeling of comfort and cleanliness. Room: Could not fault it in any way whatsoever, clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. Cleaned and everything replenished each day. Noise level: No problem at all (except for the Peafowl :-) ) Amenities: Three main swimming Pools, Gym, Entertainment, on-site shop. Service: To me this was probably the best quality the hotel possessed. The staff in all departments were of the highest order. Nothing was too much trouble and always done with genuine smiles. The food offered was fabulous with so many selections it was such a pleasurable difficulty to choose what to have. The cost of the holiday we booked through EasyJet was extremely good value and I would have no hesitation of recommending it to anyone and if we decide on another holiday in Rhodes, this is where we will stay without a shadow of doubt.
