A really good Hotel, the staff is very friendly an caring! The rooms might be a bit obsolet, but let's be honest, in an Hotel like this you only go to sleep in the room, there ist was to much to do outside!! The Buffet in the morning middday or evening unbelievable! The Shows in the evening or Just Sitzung in the Bar! Not to forget the Pools or the Sea!! And as mentioned the staff, from the Waiter to the Barkeeper Topjob!! But I personaly have to tell about the two guys looking after the Buffet in the evening, I'm in hundreds of Hotels every year Business and Holiday, but as caring as they are, I haven't met in years!! Over the Top!!

We’ve had a lovely 7 night stay at Esperos Mare Resort & Spa. The hotel itself is immaculate throughout and you can tell the staff work incredibly hard to keep everything spotless. The facilities are excellent and the whole resort feels very well maintained and organised. We had a lovely spacious room, the beds are very comfortable and having actual duvets instead of sheets was a lovely touch. The lobby and bar areas of the hotel are especially beautiful and spacious. The pool areas are stunning with plenty of loungers for everyone and beach towels are provided in the room when you arrive. All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and welcoming, from reception to bar staff, spa staff and housekeeping, nothing was too much trouble for anyone. There’s also a really useful shop inside the hotel which stays open late and genuinely has pretty much anything you might need, which was very convenient. One thing we noticed is that the hotel seems to cater heavily towards German guests, but this wasn’t an issue at all and everyone was polite and respectful. It actually made it a much more peaceful experience by the pool when compared to other holidays we’ve been on. The only unusual thing for us personally was the complete lack of cats around the hotel grounds, apart from one resident cat, which felt very different from our previous trips to Rhodes! Some people will probably see that as a positive though as you can eat your meals in peace. Overall, a very clean, comfortable, beautiful and well-run hotel in a great location.

We stayed here from May 2-9, and from the very first moment, this hotel exceeded every expectation. Honestly, we could not find a single flaw. Everything is simply exceptional. The entire property is breathtakingly beautiful, spotless, and perfectly maintained. Every corner feels elegant and thoughtfully designed. The staff deserve special praise - always warm, genuinely kind, incredibly polite, and amazingly attentive. No matter the request, everything was handled quickly and with a smile. And the food… absolutely unforgettable. If you are true food lovers like we are, this hotel is a dream destination. Every meal felt like a journey through authentic Greek cuisine, with so much variety and quality beyond that as well. The dessert selection deserves its own applause - not the usual “hotel desserts,” but beautifully crafted creations made with real care, creativity, and attention to every tiny detail. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and extremely comfortable. The pools, beach areas, and all shared spaces were peaceful, tidy, and wonderfully relaxing. Everything felt luxurious yet welcoming at the same time. The evening entertainment was another highlight - elegant, engaging, and truly enjoyable every night. This stay was more than just a vacation; it became one of the best holidays we have ever had, entirely thanks to this incredible hotel and the people who make it so special. Thank you for making our stay so unforgettable. We will carry these memories with us for a very long time!

I have stayed at the sister hotel, The Esperos Palace, many times; however, on this occasion we opted for an all inclusive stay at Esperos Mare. Overall, I couldn’t fault the staff or the facilities, although the room itself was slightly dated. I had specifically booked a double room but was initially given twin beds. This was addressed quickly, although the solution was simply to push the beds together, which is never ideal. That said, the reception team, particularly one lady on the desk, were lovely and very helpful throughout. My main issue was the lack of awareness around vegan food and allergens. Many dishes and salads had cheese added by default, which made options very limited. I raised a complaint after a fish soup was incorrectly labelled, something I only realised after the first mouthful, which resulted in me being very unwell that evening and into the next day. Customer service assured me this was a one off and offered for the chef to personally guide me through the food options at each meal. The chefs themselves were friendly and helpful, but understandably busy and not always available. Plus, it is rather embarrassing having a personal tour of the food 3 times a day. Ultimately, clearer labelling and better understanding would resolve much of this. Unfortunately, after the initial issue, there were still errors — egg noodles labelled as vegan, feta included with breakfast potatoes, cheese sprinkled on "vegan" roasted veg and honey listed as vegan. To add to this, we paid extra for soya lattes at one of the restaurants and clearly explained that we could not consume dairy, yet were served dairy milk instead. While the staff were consistently pleasant, it didn’t feel as though the seriousness of allergens was fully understood, and overall food labelling was poor compared to other hotels we have visited. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to vegans or to anyone with dietary allergies. That said, I do want to recognise the efforts of the chefs, particularly the female chef who prepared food for us on two occasions, and the chef who kindly arranged a cheese free pizza for us on two evenings when options were limited. It’s worth noting that poolside and evening snacks were not labelled and non were vegan friendly, which also impacted the value of the all inclusive package. If you are a meat eater, however, the food offering looked very good. Other points: - The pools are excellent - The entertainment team are good fun - The bar staff are brilliant - Only one traditional style two slice toaster in the restaurant, which led to queues at times. Why no commercial toaster? - No tea and coffee facilities in the room, although reception did arrange a kettle for us - The “gym” is limited (a few machines by the indoor pool), but there is a good gym nearby - Great location - Max the big fluffy cat kept us company around the outside pool and restaurant area. The bar in the sister hotel is also very nice, with excellent staff — although drinks there are not included in the all inclusive package. For us, it was still worth visiting/paying for a more relaxed evening atmosphere. The issues around allergens and dietary preferences was such a shame as it means that we will no longer be able to stay at the Mare or Palace again.

We really love this hotel, we have already visited it several times. Again, it was a very pleasant and lovely stay. From the moment of arrival, the welcome at the reception, the lovely room with a sea view, everything was once again very well organized. And of course, the delicious food and the friendly staff play a major role in this positive experience. In short, a hotel we would gladly return to again.
