We have just returned home from a wonderful 9 days here with all the family celebrating my sister and brother in laws beautiful wedding day. Hotel is lovely and clean, staff are all so friendly and the food in the Al-cart restaurants are fantastic including the service. Buffet is your usual buffet plenty for eveyone to choose and themed evenings and All inclusive drinks are all great and they come and take orders from where you are sitting including in the buffet. Rooms are lovely and clean we stayed in a family suit in the main building which was very spacious and our cleaning maids were wonderful so friendly and our room was always spotless to Come back to with plenty of towels and lovely shaped pjs or teddies for the kids to come back to on their beds. The pools are lovely we didn’t have issue getting beds with being such a big wedding group although the pool man was a little over the top if you leave toys on the side of pool edge and kids making a bit of noise playing he would come round and say … but kids are kids so we just ignored him and put thumbs up but he was pretty friendly and liked to keep his pools clean and safe. Gardens are well kept and the kids pool bubble party on Tuesday and Friday was brilliant kids had a great time so did the adults the 2 staff that come in to do it are brilliant and so friendly. You can get a buggy to the beach from front of hotel Beds are free but have to pay for drinks at the beach bar, there was a lovely man walking round selling gorgeous fresh fruit from his garden which the kids loved, but wear shoes as the stones in to the sea can hurt your feet we went once it was nice to see but preferred the pool instead. We went to Rhodes old town which was lovely really pretty lots of bars eating places pretty walks nice little beach with a lovely big boat shop that sells everything you can imagine shell 🐚 wise. My sisters and brother in laws wedding was just perfect the staff was amazing and everything ran so smooth from start to finish it was magical they couldn’t do enough for them and the chapel and back drop was stunning. The 2 ladies in the salon who done all our hairs was fantastic so friendly. We can’t fault anything about the hotel or staff we had a brilliant holiday and wedding celebration and this hotel will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Big shout out to Mr frank who runs the hotel who was very helpful and so friendly and was very good dealing with a issue we had with our room aircon on arrival Which he sorted for us and changed our room. He was always walking around and very smiley he even had a selfie with the kids on the wedding day and came and had a little dance with us all on the evening, he was great! Restaurant staff amazing - Marina, CJay and manager all so nice and food was v good. My negatives are that I felt it seemed a bit soulless - could be to do with the size which we knew but it lacked something. There is a real lack of atmosphere in the evenings and entertainment that was ok but only 3 nights out of 10 and from the app it’s the same every week. Think hotel really missing something here as these evenings were really well attended and people up dancing without it being mad and not late. Other nights you could sit in bar and there is not even any light background music so people didn’t bother too much going. Because the hotel is not near any other restaurant or bars without travelling on bus we found it lacking. Daytime activity was also not great - the animation girls tried but the app said another water activity planned for each afternoon but they couldn’t run it as hotel said quiet time but as there is no music around the pools it’s pretty quiet anyway Loved the style of the hotel and service was great - shout out to Eriola in coffee house etc but felt it didn’t really deliver fully on the explanation in terms of entertainment and as we selected it as my adult daughter has special needs and loves that type of thing - even the Tui rep said in evenings people go out as bar so quiet and not much going on
We are on our final night of a 10 night stay at La Marquise and we are nothing but thrilled with our stay here. Throughout our stay we have been looked after with care and attentiveness by the incredible staff, every single staff member has impressed us with their politeness and friendly natures. A special shout out has to go to Hasan in the Da Vinci restaurant for how quickly and expertly he goes about his job. While we had some issues when leaving the hotel due to tourist trap beach bars and restaurants everything about this hotel is excellent. From minute one we have felt comfortable and well looked after. We would definitely come back and if we were to do so we would go all-inclusive.
Exceptional stay in every respect at this amazing hotel! Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Too many amazing staff to mention individually however a really heartfelt shout out for the pool lifeguard in the Adults Only area, our lovely cleaners and the manager and two key waiters in the Crystal bar whose professionalism and exceptional service even during very busy entertainment nights was exemplary. The food is excellent in every restaurant however I particularly enjoyed the Grill house and Coffee Shop treats and their accompanied customer service.
Hotel Beautiful inviting drive up to the entrance. Stunning reception area which shares the space with the crystal bar. All gardens and surrounding areas are kept neat and tidy. Mountains in the background are stunning. Lovely pools that all link together, with plenty of sun-beds. Great kiddie pool, park, mini golf and private beach a short buggy ride away. Bubble party on Tuesdays and Fridays was a great hit with the kids and us adults. Really good fun. The chapel (where we chose to get married) is stunning. Tucked away round the corner. Really personal and beautiful. Perfect place to get married. Food Lots of options at the buffet restaurant (Da Vinci). The A la Cart restaurants (Asian Corner, Gondola and L’Etoile) are all amazing, food/service/staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Catered for the children within our party with ease. Plenty of drink options at the various bars including some tasty cocktails. We hired L’Etoile for our wedding reception. It was perfect. Just what we wanted. Our guests were ‘wowed’. Coffee shop is amazing. Lots options for breakfast and lunch or just snacks for throughout the day. Room We were upgraded to a family suite in the main hotel building (part of the wedding package) Was really lovely, nice to have more space on the wedding day for myself and family members to get ready. Lovely balcony with sea view room. Plenty of wardrobe space and nice seating area with large tv. Cleanliness was great, left spotless each day by our cleaners who were also lovely and pleasant when we saw them. Service/Staff Every staff member from the bars, restaurants, coffee shop were amazing. Special mention to Mr Frank (wonderful man) and his team. Coordinated our wedding day from start to finish, not just on the day but months before by email arranging various things. Nothing was too much trouble and put us at ease and gave us the most perfect day. We were made to feel so special. For setting all decor up for our wedding day at both the chapel and L’Etoile. It was everything I had explained I wanted it to look like at our pre wedding meeting. It was perfect! Also, for decorating our hotel room. 🩶 Liam (TUI) - For making sure the wedding day went smoothly with timings and translating throughout our ceremony. Not a bad word to say about this hotel. Loved everything single second of our 9 night stay. Holds a very special place in our hearts. Will 100% return as will other family members. Airport only 25 mins away and Rhodes old town 20 min bus ride. Stunning place to visit.
