La Marquise

A great location, close to an Aqua Park, a bus ride or taxi to Rhodes old town. Also a small train to Faliraki. The hotel was stunning, there is no other word to describe it. Beautiful maintained. We were met by a lovely gentleman on reception and our baggage was taken to our room. We had a junior suite as we had our daughter and granddaughter with us. They were attending a wedding held in the hotel. The room was lovely, towels were changed every day. We had a lovely balcony, it was spacious with a table and four chairs. The cleaners did a great job every day. The bar area is beautiful and the drinks were really good. The food was great, a large choice to chose from. The cakes and sweet stuff was probably the best we have had, the Cre'me Brule'e was to die for. The staff were exceptional, the hard working waiters, servers, greeters, managers were a pleasure, always a smile. The entertainment was ok we enjoyed the Jersey Boys, not so much the piano playing, though a lot of people did. The weather was hot but not too hot. A Rhodes old town is a must.

Wow, what a fantastic 7 days that I had at the resort. Couldn't fault anything. It was 5 star service from when you arrived until you left. The food was amazing and I enjoyed the different theme nights. The staff are fantastic. I especially want to give a special shout out to Georgia who worked at the Gondola bar. She was amazing and made our holiday so special. I'm already looking to book again next year.

We read other reviews before visiting and the 5 star reviews were true! The driveway up to the hotel had its Wow factor and the hotel lived up to this. Having just returned from a fabulous holiday at La Marquise hotel complex in Rhodes. This is definitely a 5 star hotel with the most delicious food. We stayed All Inclusive and was the first holiday with our baby grandson. This hotel accommodated to support taking a new baby. Cot in the room on arrival. Happy to blend any food we asked for. My daughter and partner felt they were so attentive and supportive to anything they asked for. The food was delicious with loads of choices daily and different everyday. So many choices. We were greeted each day and taken to a table. High chair brought to the table. Although given an all inclusive card instead of having to wear those horrible wrist bands, All the staff remembered your room numbers, the staff attention to detail makes this hotel a worthwhile stay and although we do not always return to a hotel as so many places around the world to visit. We will definitely be going back. We witnessed a couple of groups with special dietary needs and the chef would come out to speak to them in person and go through what they could have. The pools were clean and areas always tidy. Rooms keep cleaned daily as you would expect for a five star hotel. We went on the perfect week for weather and had no problems getting sun beds as so many. We believe as we left would be the start to high season and saw more people arrive as we left, but could see that they were opening up more areas to accommodate the bigger numbers. We stayed by the room too pool and bar staff made great home made milkshakes along with cocktails and mocktails. The complex is spread out and you had lots of room. Nice walks to walk around the complex and sea views. The hotel is across a road to the beach and you can safely walk under a very decorative underpass with lots of fish, dolphins painted on the walls. The shuttle buses are happy to drive you there but it is literally less than a 5 mins walk to the beach. Little supermarket at the entrance of the driveway if you needed it and bus stops at the end of the driveway. 2.5 euro per person to visit Rhodes old town which is about a 20 min bus ride. Very pretty town with lots of very pretty streets. Busy ish when we went. Not sure how busy it would get in high season. But worth a visit. We walked an hour walk to Kalfariki and it had bars etc but very tired looking and personally not for us. But enjoyed the walk. There was a land train that people could ride but we wanted the walk. Glad to be returning back to our beautiful hotel. Thank you for making our stay so memorable and hope to return soon.

From check in to check out, there was nothing not to like about this hotel, 1st class service over all the areas of the resort. Stayed in the Adults only area, accomodation was Junior suite, with pool access and pool bar area, where Carlosos looks after you very well. All Inclusive with Black card , gives access to all evening Al a Carte restaurants, Asian, The Grill and Le Etoile which can all be booked on hotel app easily, also Al a Carte lunch in Gondola Bar / restaurant. Main hotel bar has evening entertainment with acts on a few nights and piano music or Greek nights, plenty of options for top branded drinks and cocktails, bar staff always attentive, shout out to Cristof who looked after us all week. Buffet restaurant was spacious and choice of food was exceptional and always hot. Not forgetting the Coffee shop, with loads of choices for coffee's, teas and soft drinks along with sandwich snacks, savoury snacks and great choice of pastries and cakes. Nice walk to beach area with sun beds .

This was our second visit to La Marquise, the first being almost 6 years ago. We enjoyed our stay even more than the first time. The food was tasty and varied everyday. We enjoyed Lobster night (an extra cost ) and the food at the Asian Corner . The music in the evenings was good. The beach was fine as well. You can either walk through the underpass or hop on the hotel cart/buggy that will have you there very quickly. The staff were all amazing and very welcoming. The room was nice and quiet as requested. I don't think we could have asked for more.
