Olympia Faliraki

Great location. Affordable bus stop just down the road, 2.50 € to rhodes old town, beach 5 mins walk away, faliraki centre 10 min walk away.... we stayed 1 week all inclusive. Our room had balcony & great pool view. However we barely got any sleep as other guests and staff were so noisy in corridor outside room in the night. Shower was filthy on arrival, drain full of hair and sand. When using shower the water would flood the shower room and leave a huge puddle as it wouldn't drain away down main drain. This meant leaving windows open all time (which invited lots of insects and insect bites- we are covered in bites) or living with rancid cabbage smell. Food was ok if you got there as soon as it was served, otherwise choice was limited. Food repetitive by 3rd day. We ate out more than in. 2 nights 'entertainment' (Greek dancing etc) other nights it's the same music each night playing on repeat in bar. All inclusive cocktails were like drinking dilute juice. Pool was nice, parasols are static so only shade you for parts of the day. Handy shop next door - essential for water as non provided. Barely saw any staff other than barman and restaurant staff but they were friendly enough.

If your use to some standard when going on holiday avoid this hotel. The hotel is beyond basic and I understand you get what you pay for but i didnt expect that. The Room was ok to get your head down for the night and the air con was good but thats about it. The bathroom needed a good bleaching, water came out the door when you showered and the shower was blocked. The walls were bare and not even a basic thing like a mirror in the room to dry your hair i had to use my phone on selfie mode. Oh and there wasn’t a safe either. The food was the worst I’ve seen. Breakfast was very basic, the pastries didn’t even seem fresh and there was very limited choice. The snack bar was pathetic and the lunch buffet and evening buffet weren’t much better. Not great if you’re a fussy eater and no choice for kids. The drinks weren’t that great either. They cant even get the basic soft drink right like cola or fanta it was their own cheap brand that tasted like disgusting. So although we were all inclusive we ate out everyday which was then so much more on top of what we already paid for what was suppose to be all inclusive holiday. The lobby looked awful with that dark grey paint definitely needed modernising. People already put their towels down at night to save them for the morning so you had no change getting a bed if you wanted a lay in. So, to make the most of our holiday and to get away from the hotel we hired a car for 5 days. Went out in the morning and didn’t come back until the evening. So we only really slept there. This hotel is suppose to be a 3 star id give it a 2 at most. So disappointed with the Hotel

What a lovely little hotel! Located in Faliraki, just a few minutes walk from the nightlife and tucked just far enough away from the hustle to be peaceful. The staff were so lovely, warm and welcoming. The food was tasty, very good selection of food. Though I think my fellow Brits, especially families might not enjoy the selection if they have a classic British pallet. The rooms were pleasant, clean and tidy with aircon to provide a fantastic nights sleep in the hot Grecian sun. Overall a very pleasant experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely little hotel. It’s a 3 star, so do try and bear that in mind that it isn’t going to be a Hilton or a Plaza, but it those 3 stars very proud!
