Overall, I would not describe this as a bad hotel, but our experience with the accommodation was unfortunately quite mixed. We booked our holiday through the travel agency Kouzelná dovolená, while the tour operator was TUI. We had booked a double room in the side building. Unfortunately, the first room we were given was, in our opinion, significantly different from the room photos presented by TUI. The biggest issue was the bathroom, which was extremely old and looked nothing like the bathroom shown in TUI’s photos. This was not just a minor difference – the actual bathroom looked considerably older and more worn. The room was also not properly cleaned when we arrived. There was sand, hair and other dirt on the floor, dust inside the bedside table, and sand on the table. We reported the problem immediately. We waited approximately two hours for the room to be cleaned, but even after it was cleaned again, the room was still not completely clean and some of the dirt remained. That evening, we were told that nothing more could be done for us, so we had no choice but to spend the night in that room. TUI was aware of the situation and contacted the hotel reception about the problem. The following day, we had to leave the original room at 10:00 and wait until 14:00 for another room. The second room was better and cleaner, so the situation was partially resolved, but this room also had some issues. There was very little storage space and the bathroom sink did not drain properly. Overall, some parts of the renovation felt more like a superficial makeover than a complete renovation. It is also worth knowing that the hotel is still undergoing renovation. There is another unfinished building on the property, while some of the existing rooms still do not appear to have been renovated. If you are choosing your room based on the photos shown in TUI’s holiday offer, I would recommend checking in advance which specific room type you will actually receive. Our experience with the other parts of the hotel was much better. The restaurant is nice. Breakfast was repetitive but tasty. Lunch was rather average – some of the meat did not smell good to us, and on several days we struggled to find something we wanted to eat. Dinner was definitely the best meal, with something grilled every evening, and the desserts were a real highlight. Ice cream and a snack bar were also available during the day. The pool was fine and there were plenty of sunbeds. Housekeeping during the rest of our stay was good and our towels were changed several times. The staff were generally fine, although in the restaurant we sometimes felt that the service was inattentive and empty plates were not cleared from the tables. One of the biggest advantages is the beautiful and clean beach, located about a five-minute walk from the hotel. Sunbeds on the beach cost around €20. Overall: The hotel has nice common areas, a good pool, a beautiful beach nearby, and very good dinners and desserts. However, our biggest problem was the room, especially the fact that its actual condition was significantly different from the photos presented by TUI. If the renovation is completed properly and all rooms meet the standard shown in TUI’s holiday offer, the overall experience could be much better.

The hotel itself was fine, fairly small but had everything you needed and the buffet choice was ok. I was however very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness at this hotel. The first day we arrived we found a false nail in our room and the floor was dusty I wore flip flops in my room the entire time. We twice left out the sign asking for the room to be cleaned and it wasn’t so in the end we took our bath towels, found a cleaner and swopped them ourselves. They don’t provide beach towels although you can hire them for 10€s we opted to buy some. They have the same problem as a lot of resorts whereby people get up early and put towels on sunbeds and then don’t use them until after lunch but at this place you can put your towels on the sunbeds at night because they don’t get cleaned very often and the towels aren’t moved or collected at night. I complained at reception about this and was told it happens all over the island although it is against the rules - I asked if the staff could collect the towels that had been left on beds overnight and was told no - I said I’d do it myself and was told I could get in trouble. I’ve never experienced such a woeful response to sunbed hogging like this. I wouldn’t go back to this hotel.

Great location. Affordable bus stop just down the road, 2.50 € to rhodes old town, beach 5 mins walk away, faliraki centre 10 min walk away.... we stayed 1 week all inclusive. Our room had balcony & great pool view. However we barely got any sleep as other guests and staff were so noisy in corridor outside room in the night. Shower was filthy on arrival, drain full of hair and sand. When using shower the water would flood the shower room and leave a huge puddle as it wouldn't drain away down main drain. This meant leaving windows open all time (which invited lots of insects and insect bites- we are covered in bites) or living with rancid cabbage smell. Food was ok if you got there as soon as it was served, otherwise choice was limited. Food repetitive by 3rd day. We ate out more than in. 2 nights 'entertainment' (Greek dancing etc) other nights it's the same music each night playing on repeat in bar. All inclusive cocktails were like drinking dilute juice. Pool was nice, parasols are static so only shade you for parts of the day. Handy shop next door - essential for water as non provided. Barely saw any staff other than barman and restaurant staff but they were friendly enough.
