Studios & Apartments Argiro Village

We arrived near to midnight and Clara was lovely and friendly, gave us some sandwiches and water and took us to our room on the golf cart. At first glance the room was a little basic, the shower is tiny and curtain clings to you. That’s the only complaint though, the rooms are super clean, beds so comfy and peaceful at nighttime. Food is tasty with a good variety, not always the hottest but still good. Grab your dessert with your meal as there might not be much choice left when you’ve finished. Elena and Jody are super friendly and always smiling, Pool and bar area is super clean and relaxing, generally enough room for everyone, sometimes it was hard to find a sunbed around the pool but you can relax behind in the grass instead. Afantou is a nice walk, very small but has some nice restaurants, a few shops and a lovely bakery. Bus stops are nearby the hotel to get you to Rhodes, Lindos or anywhere else really. Didn’t use the shuttle to the beach, we walked instead, it was a pleasant walk but wear some stable shoes as it can get abit cobbly at points, nice beach but not much there.

We have just spent a relaxing week at Argiro Village and wanted to share our thoughts. Firstly, the staff are warm, welcoming, friendly and worth their weight in gold. They will bend over backwards to help you. The pool is small but clean and there are not many issues with people reserving sunbeds. There are extra sunbeds on the grass. The pool bar will only serve a limited amount of alcoholic drinks between the hours of 10.30 and 6pm. These are wine or beer. The wine is not the best. The soft drinks, in particular the cola, is a cheaper brand and does not taste the best. After 6pm there are cocktails available but again, they are not the best and are made from concentrated squash. Be mindful that the toilets by the bar do not lock properly and someone can walk in as they did to me. There were a couple of days when there was no toilet roll in them although if mentioned to the staff, they are quick to resolve this. The restaurant is small and fills up quickly. It is not big enough for the amount of guests and guests were turned away and asked to return later most evenings. The cooked breakfast choices are limited. The food runs out quickly and it is not quick to be replenished. There is a fair amount of choice for lunch and evening meals. However, there is a shortage of deserts and these disappear quickly. Many people were taking their deserts back to their table before collecting their main meal!. The pool snack bar which is available from 4pm consists of ice cream and ready wrapped ham and cheese sandwiches. We stayed in a standard room and it was basic and a bit outdated. It served a purpose though as we were only there to shower, change and sleep. The shower has a shower curtain which due to the size of the shower tray, sticks to you. The water fluctuates both in pressure and temperature. We ended up tying the curtain up which meant the whole bathroom ended up wet. Although, we enjoyed the island and the sunshine, we would not return to this hotel due to the facilities.

Today is a sad day because our holiday has come to an end. Argiro Village has made our holiday the most memorable & relaxing holiday. The owners & staff are so helpful and accommodating. The food has been amazing, with something different every day. Fantastic Greek cuisine. The gardens are beautifully maintained and always immaculately clean. The hotel is close by to all amenities, whilst also giving you that totally relaxing and calming experience. We've already reserved our rooms for next year. This is 100% the type of place you can call your second home and keep coming back. Argiros you have captured our hearts 💕 thank you for an amazing holiday ❤️
