TUI MAGIC LIFE Plimmiri by Atlantica

We stayed at the Plimmiri in October last year and we honestly had the most wonderful time. My little girl loved going into the children's club, there was so much entertainment for the teens and the food was varied and expansive. I am vegan and I never once struggled to find a food... The only thing there wasn't a lot of was pudding options- but I read after that you can request these. The night time entertainment was great and all of the team worked so hard. It was well maintained, the pools were spread out and the beach was nice. The coffee house was a great addition and the fact that the rooms weren't in a hotel formation and were in blocks made it feel really spacious and spread out. As we were there at the end of the season the splash park needed a little tlc, but it most certainly didn't ruin out experience. So much to do for families, could and anyone else who would want to visit. If you are travelling as a family, particularly with young children I would recommend booking a private transfer as the transfer time added a lot of time to an assist long day of travelling, but it was so worth it once we were there.

What a beautiful hotel. We had an absolutely fabulous week here. On arrival very late at night after a gruelling journey we were apprehensive, one receptionist, quite a few of us arrived at the same time, check in was fairly slow and one porter two and fro on the golf buggy dropping us to our rooms, we had to hunt for something to eat and it was only a dried up roll and not very appetising, but we managed to get a drink and once we got to the room we were blown away, stunning! We had a suite as my husband and I had our 20 year old daughter, so we had two rooms with a L shaped balcony, it was to a very high standard and sparkly clean! We slept well and in the morning was greeted by a beautiful view.. from there the holiday went from strength the strength! The buffet restaurant was superb, the pool and beach were comfortable, facilities great, plenty of sunloungers, everywhere was clean and the service was fantastic. Entertainment staff were good, friendly but not pushy. A couple of niggly things if I had to state.. the main pool was gorgeous had built in sunbeds and a ledge to sit on but the water pumps weren't working properly. And the Spa, we visited for a massage on the second day of our stay, the massage was brilliant. But the Spa facilities disappointing. The inside pool was freezing and the waterfall not working, the steam room was also not working, we weren't given bathrobes or slippers. Having said that, the hotel was gorgeous and I would recommend, despite the very long coach transfer!

The resort is beautiful, spacious and clean. The rooms are big and cleaned daily. More importantly there is so much to do for everyone! We traveled with the grandparents and everyone had a wonderful time. There are 6 tennis courts, archery, water slides for teenagers/older kids, a splash pad for the younger, several swimming pools (one with laps should you wish) volleyball and aqua sports such as sailing and kayak. The food at the buffet is good and there is always something new to try. I would not waste my time at the specialty restaurant as the service is slower. However the views of the ocean from there is better! There is so also a variety of activities for adults to do as well, probably the most out of any resort we have ever been too! It kept us busy and engaged. The app lays out nicely exactly what is happening and at what times. Just be mindful that a lot of activities require booking beforehand. My kids absolutely loved the kids club (MyMo). They would wake up in the morning begging us to go! Everything is so perfectly structured and thought through to the dot. I wanted to give a special shoutout to Rene, head of tennis. He is a phenomenal coach. My son had 2 private lessons with him and you can feel his passion and expertise dominating the courts. I wish we had more time with him! Definitely do not miss out on the chance of taking lessons with him or the team. We had a great time and we will definitely be back!

Staff here are amazing very laid back and personable. They made the holiday extra relaxing. Food was amazing and always varied. Rooms very clean. Private beach very clean. Loads for kids to do during day and evening. Shopping centre was great as it is a little out of the way.

Just got back from 8 nights at TUI Magic Life Plimmiri and couldn't recommend it more. We're a couple in our mid-twenties with no kids, and this was actually our second time here (we last came two years ago). Not much has changed since then, but honestly that's exactly why we came back. The TUI transfers sorted everything from the airport both ways with zero hassle. When we arrived we were greeted by Michaela, and a golf cart took us and our bags straight to the room, which was a nice touch after travelling. The room was just as we expected, and the food was too. We thought it was really good value for money given everything that's included. There are loads of pool options and the beach is lovely. It's a hotel that allows children, but we never felt bombarded by kids and always managed to find a sunbed throughout the day without any stress. The rooms are spread across separate blocks with only a few rooms in each, so you're not crammed on top of everyone else, which made a big difference. This is the perfect holiday if you want somewhere quiet where most of the people you speak to are either staff or other guests. Because the beach is part of the resort, you don't get random people wandering around either, which adds to the relaxed, private feel. The entertainment was great, and the drinks at the bar were just what we expected. The staff in the buffet were especially friendly and helpful. They were also showing most of the World Cup games on the big screen, which was a bonus. There's also a spa, which we didn't end up trying. The staff there were a little bit pushy trying to sell us treatments, but we politely declined and that was that. We don't have children, but the services they provide for families looked great from what we could see. The one thing I'd flag is that if you're after a hotel where you can wander into the local town and explore, this probably isn't for you, although you can get a bus into the nearest towns easily enough. Over the 8 nights we never had a single complaint. It's a bit of a trek to get there, but it's definitely worth it. We were very happy and will absolutely be back. Perfect for some peaceful relaxation.
