Zante Maris Suites

This is an interesting hotel, it looks nice in pictures but upon arrival, different story. Check in is great, very personable, the hotel is in a hill so either have a car or I guess they pick you up in the main street (we had rented a car). The parking lot is basically an area across the street can't go in or out the right side of the entrance, it will ruin the car underneath since is poorly designed for car to go through. We were told we were upgraded to a suite, i saw it and it was nice but the suite had a COLD private pool, and we had rented a room with heated water. We like to soak in the pool after a long day. So we asked to be taken to the room I had reserved, big mistake, the room has minimal heated water pool, shared with other three rooms, which is fine with me, but I was the only one during those 3 days in the "HEATED" private pool that everyone in the restaurant can see you, since the water was so cold. (no heating pool) The worst part is that these rooms is that they are next to the breakfast room and restaurant so to say they are noisy is and underestimation of what they really are, STAY AWAY FROOM THESE ROOMS Digging into the room, ok rooms, nasty bathroom (picture attached), with nice toiteleries though. On a good note, the rooms are huge. The breakfast was great many choices, nice view, a lot of bees, is nature, that's good, waitress with specific roles, so we asked the orange juice lady for a coffee and the answer was: "i dont do that" so we have to wait for the coffee person, who was very nice, and he brought us the coffee. We never ate in the restaurant, there are tons of tabernas in the town next to the hotel, much cheaper and much better that the hotel. So this is a 4 star hotel at best, with most of the times friendly staff and big not luxury rooms, in a good location. Obviously will not go back

Excellent hotel,quiet location but easy access to village.Buggies available to those with mobility issues to get down to the level walkways.Thank you Alban and Mahmoud. All the staff were excellent-customer care friendly and professional.Heated pool and pool bar with sufficient loungers. Top quality food available and also excellent restaurants in Tsilivi.Enjoyable experience for a late summer getaway.

Every single member of staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful. From our experience of 30 years of travelling, this team were genuinely the best we had ever come across. I hope the owners realise just how good this group of people are! The food was really first class (we were half board), with a good mix of authentic local dishes as well as more international items and there is a wide range to select from. The setting is beautiful on top of a small hill off the main road through town so the views are always out to sea. We stayed for the very final week of the season so it was very quiet - fewer than 20 rooms occupied when we arrived and only 6 in the last couple of days there. This was perfect for us and meant zero noise and always a sunbed available. We hardly used the private pool as they aren’t heated; the main pool is. For a relaxing and feel of an exclusive holiday this was absolutely perfect. We’d recommend Canditas bar a short walk away for drinks if you want to get off site

Lovely hotel and friendly staff who were always helpful, smiling with great English. Very relaxing and beautiful views looking down the hill towards the sea. . Food is amazing! Beach walks were enjoyable. Thank you Zante and the lovely staff at the Zante Maris Suites.

An incredible hotel but maybe experience should be the right word to use. From the first moment you enter the wooden fence you are greeted with friendly faces all eager to make your stay as welcome as possible. I was expecting a lot after reviewing the other comments but it more than lived up to the hype. A special shoutout must go to the staff, from Jenni, to Esteban, Isabella and Giannis to the other tireless workers. They do a fantastic job making sure you have everything you need. The trip wouldn’t be the same with them all. There are a lot of events throughout the week to keep you busy and best of all if you just want to unwind and relax by the pool there is always ample space. You never feel the venue is overly packed. Location wise the hotel is quite central to Planos but you can easily commute around. You may hear about the hill and stairs upwards back to the hotel but you can actually book a buggy to go up and down this if you aren’t the hiker. The only tiny criticism is the wasps, but this is not the hotels doing. They have various techniques to help alleviate the pesky ones who may come to you by your private pools and sometimes at dinner and it seems to have done the trick.
