Apartamentos Casablanca

Food good, location ok, service in bar was shocking as the day went on. The lifeguard took a major dislike to us. This lifeguard she had no nametag. Very rude and made our holiday at the pool side not enjoyable. The cleaners were excellent and room were maintained very often by the cleaning staff.

The Casablanca Apartments were a joy to stay at for our holiday. The 1 bedroom apartment was very roomy had a full width balcony overlooking the bowling green private and protected overhead from rain. All staff excelled in their duties. Location at the top part of the resort so quite hilly with lots of steps, taxi fare 4.5euro.

First off, this is a lovely resort. It's clean and well-maintained. Which is kind-of the problem, really. We went this April and they closed the pool for maintenance on day 3 of our trip with no warning. The pool and seating areas outside were then completely closed for the rest of our trip. Management nowhere to be found, did not respond to requests to discuss it and the reception staff said the managers "had gone home." Eventually (no communication from the hotel) we found out they had arranged alternative pool and seating at the hotel next door. Which was also carrying out noisy hammering construction work. So it's a nice place but was effectively closed while we were there, with no suitable provision made. TUI did compensate us £100 so we could use the publicly-available pool (a 20 minute walk away) but it was far from ideal. Very poor communication and felt let down by the hotel.

I initially gave a bad review of this place but after we were moved rooms I couldn’t fault the staff for all their help!!

We had a car for the week which was great as its very hilly in North and they had a private carpark for which you paid a daily fee. Apartment was accessible by lifts important for those loke us, getting on in life! No air-conditioning and it had been rather chilly but they provided a heater on request. Nice pool and catering facilities with evening entertainment in restaurant area .
