Hovima Suites Costa Adeje

Terrible for coeliac/ gluten free. Don’t go all inclusive if this is you! Yes there is a tiny section and a dedicated toaster, but the gf section was only either bread or muffins every day. And this was poor too. Had to result to the buffet food and this was really risky for me because of cross contamination. Luckily we went half board but even so, I went to a supermarket to buy myself strawberries to take to breakfast and put chocolate sauce on 😂 and for lunch it was just so plain for me and the quality wasn’t good. My boyfriend didn’t really enjoy the “normal” food either. Bar staff weren’t clued up about drinks and gluten either. It was a pain trying to ask. The food outside the hotel is great!!! Found lots of places for gluten free options who know about coeliac too. Would come again but not to eat at the hotel.

A big thank you to Jonny who’s part of the animation team! He really made our experience that much better, and we hope to see him again if we return later this year/ next year. He helps everyone feel involved, making sure we’re all smiling, and of course having a great holiday! He even came to say goodbye to me and my boyfriend on his day off which not a lot of people would even think of doing 🫶🏼 Also the hotel was huge! We were spoilt for choice of pools (although not allowed balls/ inflatables), and it always looked so clean everywhere and really modern! The room was great too and really spacious.

The hotel was close to the airport, and a ten minute walk to the beach, Siam park was a 10 minute taxi drive away. Outside the hotel it was clean, and had worries about safety. The hotels atmosphere was calm and chill a lovely holiday to sit by the pool! Very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, and the restaurant. The food was ok, and loved how the dinners and lunches changed daily which was really nice! The entertainment was great in the adult side of the hotel, not too full on but Jonny the entertainer was really polite funny and made the sunny days even more enjoyable. Fairly priced. Recommend this hotel to couples.

Jonny is a very good part of the entertainment team, he got very involved with the whole of the community. Remember he has 400+ people to talk to a day, he still involved himself and kept everyone in the loop.

It was lovely had an amazing time and relaxed so much !! Jonny was great company and so helpful love him!! And Fabio is very helpful and kind!!
